Detail
Each year we have some special gift or freebies to all players during Xmas. This is because I`ve started work on our games in Dec 2002 so it is a `start spacefed celebration`. However this year we are planning or doing something slightly different to make things more interesting.
Everyone will receive +20% turn storage and +20% turn generation rate. This effect will last from 8.00 PM on the 24th till 8.00 PM on the 25th (server time).
If you are happy with this, please offer a merry xmas greating to all your friends online, or happy holidays :)

Now since everyone will be getting their freebies, it is now the time for you all to listen to another round of Stephen`s rambling :) A small price to pay for the freebies right ?
Anyhow this is a small introduction to all the newbies out there who dont know this :) I`ve started working on our games starting of mid Dec 2002 (wow it has been over 4 years since I started doing this), mainly because there isnt any nice strategy games to play with pooh (the person I am currently married to now). I`ve played many games and always imagined the games could be much better. Dont everyone who have played any games every think that `what if i am able to add this to the game... add that, etc etc`. Hence the reason why I`ve started working on our games.
Anyhow it has been more than 4 years, we`ve been through a lot of hardship especially in the beginning especially when it comes to trying to figure out how to pay for the bills and bandwidth while at the same time trying to figure out how to get enough CPU processing (like buying our own server which doesnt come cheap). I am glad to say that this game has been like a baby to me, and it has been great to watch it grow to this size after so long. We have over 1 million total registered members now compared to initially when we first started (which is around 100-200, lol) and I will look forward to the time when we reach 10 million :) Imagine 10 million players online fighting each other, wow !
I would like to thank everyone`s support, all the admins who have managed to maintain peace and order, guides whom have help `guided` newbies and taught them how to play, all the staff here who have worked hard to make this possible and most importantly all the players who have contributed to help us out in many ways from suggestions to donations and to refering their friends to play this game.
Last of all, merry Xmas to all who celebrate this festive if not happy holidays :)

Notes From Eternus
First of all i`d like to start off by wishing you all a happy holidays, enjoy it. I`ve been here over 3 years of the 4 and have seen lots of things change some good some bad, UC`s changed beyond recognition and grown beyond belief. In that time i`ve worked my way up from guide to mod to admin to finally Head Admin. I`d like to take this time to thank some people (most of whom won`t read this) from the past and present.
Firstly stephen for creating the game and keeping it running, Tregelen and Moocha for helping me those years ago when i was still a newb and for helping keep the chat a pleasant place. Lothor for rejecting me all those times as a guide and then his encouragement when he came back after i`d become a guide.
Belial of course for him making me a guide way back when and his continued help til this very day when i need advice. Last but not least of these i`d like to thank Pandy who`s done all my training over my time and had faith in me, she is a good teacher and a great friend.
Finally i`d like to thank all the guides, admins and paid staff over the years we might not have always seen eye to eye but you`ve helped keep the games running for all this time.
Thank you to you all, and certainly thanks to the players.
In the spirit of christmas lets keep these days as abuse free as possible and enjoy the game we all love. How about a miracle and a silencing free day? I know it`d make my day better

What a heritic, I want to create a better game I Stephen so I think UC good game which is totally untrue. GC potential is much greater then UC`s and could become abetter game then most others, but now UC and GC are both worse then most others. I don`t even play, I vm it, rather I wait until I have time to burn for a big operation I don`t even have planned out. |
