So after our last event we were suppose to get a new event after a short break meaning maybe 1-1.5 weeks is what it was suppose to be. Well a month+ later nothing, and whats worse is that stephen was on the chat and asked him several times about the gc event but didn`t reply at all even though he was active in chat and was talking back and forth with other players and could have easily seem my post a few times so..... epic fail |

99+ day(s) ago | stephen does as he likes because he can, because he promises something doesn`t mean it`ll go through because sadly his word like the word of a lot of other people is not necessarily a binding agreement.
also as far as stephen is concerned maybe he`s in deep thought about his up coming addition to his sequence of events.... perhaps he`s planning and ploting with his mind writhing away in agony with thoughts careening through his mind in an undulating way as so not to disturb his general lack of that altruistically dutiful manner in which he goes about GC... one can only speculate and hope and pray though. so maybe just maybe this upcoming "brought to you by stephen event" will be the best one yet with lasers ponies and fireflies with an epic manditory server wide battle royal where dp only last 2 mins and people really actually lose their life because in this month he`s been secretly placing snipers in the trees and on roof tops near our computers so that when our empires crumble our bodes are forced to accept the same fate.
though who`s to say there`s not an event going on right now, you`re under the impression that events have to be announced? there could possibly be an event going on right now...perhaps there`s an empire out there thats now what it appears to be...maybe no one`s found it yet....or maybe they have and they were told keep it hush hush so as not to ruin it.
honestly you can never be sure now can you. these things take a degree of faith and unless you believe you will never be able to participate, you will only continue to live your GC life in a state of monotony while others seem to have this eery magnanimous spirit about them that you`ll be incapable of duplicating within yourself cause you to have many many many meager sad days...
always look to the sky my friends the answer is always floating about, but be warned don`t search the skys to long, because the wind is just the vehicle on which the action rides...the true party happens on |

99+ day(s) ago | lol thats not my point raistilin its the fact that we were told it would happen after a short break and when i asked stephen about it i was completely ignored, yet UC has no problems with getting a recent huge update and such, i just didn`t like the major lack of communication and being completely ignored when asking a relevent question |

Personal experience, helping run events when i was part of staff, it isn`t easy.
You gotta get the crab set up, institutionalize it, baby it while a bunch of you players either QQ about it , whine about it not being fair to one specific person, or yadda yadda.
It`ll happen when the staff has time. |
