Slavyzz 2010-03-15 |  | Out of DP bonus |  | I wrote a big old thing about how producers (agri, cg, mineral, etc.) should receive out of dp bonuses just like tax or comm empires.
But it really all boils down to the fact that I want more money without having to work for it, cause I`m lazy.
So yeah that`s what I want, the word "bonus" next to my food production and a plus sign and a number representing bonus food I`m making because I`m not hiding in dp.

Tbh, the races really worth playing (aside from miner, which is debatable) can`t be enslaved. Maru, collective, guard, viral, none can be enslaved so I think this is a moot point. |
EvilLoof 99+ day(s) ago | A bonus on agri, minerals and goods wouldn`t be the same as a credit bonus, it would keep being the same no matter the size of the fleet. The bonus for credit income go down as you add fleet....Think it`s too complicated to tweak it so a bonus for other income styles would do the same, so the only way to balance it out would be removing the bonus i think. |

Deathroe 99+ day(s) ago | I like the idea of increasing the existing `bonus` system. The one issue would be for empires above 10 million pr, their bonus would be unchanged. The increased bonus (based on economics) should stimulate players staying out of DP and staying below 10 mill. PR!! The trick is to determine how much increase in `Bonus` is the right/correct amount.
Idea: have several tests/events (24 to 48 hours) and have different `bonus` values. This should provide usefull information !!

Slavyzz 99+ day(s) ago | Hm the slaver thing I did not consider, however I don`t see it as a very strong point. Only terrans and aminers are effected by enslavement, and I happen to be one of the other four races that can`t be enslaved so that doesn`t really make it fair huh? And perhaps enslaved empires should lose a percentage of any profit they make on the market to the empire that enslaved them.
And yes mineral miners already make plenty, I am really thinking of cg producers and agri empires (like myself). |
