99+ day(s) ago | Logically you cant pull off a UW on your own without being in a big fed. unless you manage to climb hundred million PR and turns are limited on TB like Islander said.

99+ day(s) ago | That`s why they have to be stopped before they are started. Once someone crosses 100-120m, kick back, enjoy the ride and kiss it all good bye because it become very difficult to stop the massive build-up and subsequent UW. |

99+ day(s) ago | Deiloche - The two times I`ve tried I`ve taken them within a week, at one point holding them for 2+ months by myself, back when I had the time. That tells me your hold isn`t as strong as you`d like to believe. At this point though I have more things on my plate than the game, and can`t afford to time to go 1 or 2 vrs many many more.
And kraven, part of it is it is a turn based server. If your at 500m and everyone else is below say 75m? Without btc`s 48 hours is nowhere near enough time to get up a fleet to take out the UW - Hence turn based UW`s are simpler. |

99+ day(s) ago | Dominance isn`t constantly having the ranks. It`s easy to take the ranks. The fact that you cannot hold them shows our dominance. If it were a constant back and forth battle, it would be different. You can take them if you try but it doesn`t last because we pwn you. ;) |

99+ day(s) ago | Nah - It`s not dominance. CC has taken the ranks plenty of times with like two or three people , sometimes as few as one. We just can`t hold them - You certainly do not dominate. UW`s are just ridiculously simple. Especially when you people keep enslaving me :P |

99+ day(s) ago | Fuzzy - Even long before BR, TC did plenty, even worse when BR and TC were allied. It`s been easy for a very long time - Compared to say UW`s of the past. This past year, 2009 has had nearly twice as many UW`s as any other year in the game - It`s getting quite easy most everywhere. |

99+ day(s) ago | Obviously i just have a very different mentality, i dont even play ultra but maybe its just that much different to rt.
On rt when there is a uw by anyone the server bands together to fight as a group, no attempt to hold would be successful and generally how old or new you are doesnt matter as you talk together and pass down experience. There will always be a strongest fed but normally the remains at least try to work together. |

Deil and AGM, Rip, Ned, Kaneda, if you ever ask yourself at some point in the future why the game or the server declined, I want you to refer to your posts in this thread.
Experts, veterans, and members of BR, you either need to tolerate and accomodate mediocre, inexperienced, different-styled, new, and journeyman players (and I fall into one or more of those categories) or you need to play with yourselves.
It comes down to this: do the rest of us matter, or not? I think for the game`s future, you ought to care. |

So what I know BR UW`s to much BUT I`ve seen this whole server take down some of BR`s Uw`s as well as my own past attempts. Everyone shouldnt give up. Make some of your own goals, climb with bases so when the UW goes off and they try to climb, just out climb them. then once your clear start building a fleet. It seems as most of the server is giving up all cause 1 fed has the Ranks, sure its turned based server and sure less players and feds But who cares, ANYONE can say hey Im tired of BR and climb up to take some down. Just look at the richlist? Besides Urban theres only 1 BR in the top Ten, after this UW those People on the rich list can do something with all that money they have. build build build YOU can stop BR YOU can stop this BR domination. YOU hold this server in your hand people Now lets do something about this and shove BR back down to where they belong. Lets see This server step up and Show BR Were still there and Were mad for what they have done. We got the Numbers We got the artis We got the money all we need are more minerals and WE should and can take BR down a step if we Really try Hard enough.

Clever tactic. Twisted, but clever.
First you prevent anyone from fusing arties to use opposing the next UW.
Then you blow the UW to weaken them just before launching another UW.
That`s twisted thinking, but clever if Stephen allows it to happen more than once.
If that is what is happening I`m out of here because one fed could hold the server for months. It would be one UW after another if they already have the BTC`s in place to build a big fleet to hold off the sever.
With no BTC`s to oppose them it would be a cake walk. |

As for this happening on RT ? Get Real. No one group is anywhere near powerful enough for that. |
