Say u build a massive fleet, and u wanna research, but doing that means u will loose loads of monhey, or u must sacrifce ur ships and disband them, what happens if u coud say, bring them into dock, for example,
when ships are docked, they only require 10% of the previous upkeep, and there power is reduced my 80%. but u don`t get put in DP. and all ur ships are still attackable, but ur defense is increased because of being docked. |

What I meant was that the general GC community seem to want updates on GC, However, everytime (or most of the time, I`ve observed) people treat new ideas like trash. I do NOT believe this is the right way to treat players. I mean he/she has thought up of a great idea, but you guys just ruthlessly put him/her down without thinking just because YOU don`t like it. What image do these actions form? That we`re a horrible community, of course. New ideas are good, embrace them. Although some ideas might not be as good or well thought-out as others. We shouldn`t put them down impusively. Who knows? The idea may breed other great ideas that may actually benefit GC.

99+ day(s) ago | Protoss, the thing you dont understand is yeah we want update, but a good one, and wich WE want... if you cant afford going high, just dont go high that`s simple and we only need bugs fix and ships update and maybe a few more project with make federation usefull, we dont need this kind of dung, grow your empire so you can afford ships, or else, research make money and come play high |

99+ day(s) ago | Okay, guys. I have the same viewpoint as Mutated. Everybody wants updates, but they don`t want any changes. Let me tell you something, a game that`s not frequently updated is a bad game. Think about it. What kind of MMOGs have you played that has hardly ever updated (excluding those cheap free MMOs of course :)). You see, it`s just the quality of updates that decide whether or not a game is bad (UC has had bad updates over time, and GC hasn`t been updated for quite a while, which is actually worse) If you can`t take chances with a game that you`ve created, then who`ll keep playing it? The thing is, we can`t play the same game over and over again. Take WoW or any other MMORPGs, they`re constantly adding new quests, new items, new features. That`s what makes player stay. If GC remains static as it is today, although I admit it`s a great game, I don`t believe I`ll be playing it for over 2+ years. It needs updates, major ones at that. Maybe new ships, new features, new projects. I don`t know. An update is decided by its quality. I can`t stress that enough. When a game has good updates, people feel "refreshed" and wants to continue playing it. On the other hand, GC....well, you get the idea. |

99+ day(s) ago | meh @ u all...how would it lead to less battles? if wouldn`t..ur DP stays the same..infact it would lead to more battles, so ppl don`t have to remove their fleet.
it also kinda makes ur fleet a sittin duck..u have a herc...that`s been reduced to 4,000 power, with hard;y any weapons...so basically ur whole fleet become fodders...so u risk alot..but it`s better then disbanding them..u guys are fools and short sighted.
all it does is basically renders ur fleet useless until u activate it again |

That would lead to less battles = less fun. If you can`t support a fleet while building it, you just need to get rid of it, or don`t research. |
