  Updates and Changes  

Over the next few hours the following changes will take place.


  • Lyth
    Upkeep will be restored to 52,052 from 41,154

  • Lakko will be tweaked:-

    M.Lakko
    Energy Damage 11,500 => 7,700
    Missile Damage 24,000 => 16,000
    Hull 55,000 => 36,500
    Range 3
    Scanner rating 623 => 416
    Power rating 36,666 => 24,444
    1 turn produces 1 => 2
    Ship upkeep 32,999 => 20,666


    Ship Specials
    No retaliation
    Ships attacked by this ship cannot return fire.

    Energy Shield +40%
    Absorption Shield -60%
    ECM +40%
    Ionized Hull -95%

  • G.Sapphire
    Buildrate will be changed from 1 => 2

  • G & D class

    Marauders D class & Miners G class will be put back into there own shiplists (I.E Miner`s G class is currently under guardian to prevent capture.. While Marauders D class is under Dark Marauder to prevent capture


I have found a possible fix that in my testing appears to work well to disable capture within captureable shiplists..

Long story short this Should change nothing other then providing proper listing for these ships..

However if you do happen to capture any D/G class you are to inform Me personally via PM immediately with details as for How it happened if you are able to..

And if you are a viral and happen to capture/reverse any G/D class ships your entire shiplist will be ERASED

Hi everyone Thx for having me hear today, my name is kelti and im a dongaholic. I was bltch free for a few weeks now until I just recently started another little bltch fest and fell off the wagon. My triggers are waking up in the morning and going to sleep at night so just about every little thing in between triggers an episode especial when my panties start to ride up another episode starts right away.

Saying that guards can`t contribute to the discussion is ridiculous..... they know as well, if not better, than anyone about guard ships.... and as all input, it should be considered, if is biased and not accurate then it should be dismissed, if it is helpful then it should be taken into consideration.

I think guards are underpowered and it`s not fair.... too slow build rates, poor shield modifications....... I mean it took me forever to build 100mil tourm spam the other day.... and then some terran spammed up hercs in, what felt like, minutes and took me out.... No fair. If something isn`t done to make guardians better and stronger I am going to quit this game.

ever since the update to change terran ships there has been nothing done to fix that error that made guardian the most powerfull race in the game

all guard empires should be ignored from this conversation about the guardian problem

Guard is designed to hold high pr to protect galaxy from UWs...build rate is big part of that..make the least money of all races..cant uw...super weak to missile...now you want other races to build as fast or faster?! ...if you stack with your uber missle ships guard big disadvantage..and if you cant seem to do that and terran so bad why dont you just boom or restart?...and seeing how you are by your post and activity over the YEARS you would just find some other reason to not play...truth is every since you got those clusters(years ago) you have not really played..guess you scared to lose them or something...hell plunder them off and start playing again you might just have fun at this game again...back before you got those i remember you very active and quite tough to beat..i think it kills a empire to worry bout losing planets when ya hoard...not to say all do but overall it changes how you play too many examples to even list...watch mass empires that battled 10-40 times a day win couple clusters and basically kills their activity...now they have to build counters instead of worryng bout giving them...its happining right now again cause of lots have big clusters...and lots of those empires used to hit everything that moved now cant afford to do that.... now they just sit up in high pr away from most active fighters...just saying bro be nice to see ya back playing but seems its hopeless cause you always finding "flaws"..plunder those planets and burn the server up with activity and have some fun again...:)

I do agree that chim needs to build one ship faster per turn though..but as a whole terrens are supposed to be good at everything and great at nothing..hence the descripion "Balanced"....wich we as terrens are imo

Herc/nirv/tyr buildrates are fine, going back to the old buildrates would be a disaster.

if tyr, nirv`s and herc`s would be back to their usual build rates.. i would be very happy. and ohh in my opinion Chim`s is the only good starbase for terrans but it takes a long time to build up high. :(

so if i understand you correctly you are saying that terrans are going to continue getting their build rates reduced? cause that is all that has been happening
herc Br reduced from 2 to 1
nirv build rate reduced from 3 to 2
tyr build rate reduced from 4 to 3
chimaera build rate wasn`t changed at all yet the power per turn was reduced by half?
ya thanks just make the race that is supposed to bring balance to the galaxy even weaker so other races can just roam around unchecked

lol if that is how guides reason then GC is really going down the drain.

Chimera is still not very good compared to hoko/lakko which are both building very fast. It was greatly improved compared to the old version, but I still fail to see why it needed such a huge buildrate cut. It still lose to very spammable ships such as nirv/pyth which are building twice as fast.

To me this is much the same discussion as for the Sapphire, its a nice ship, but the buildrate is simply too low. Sapphire immidiately got fixed, but for some reason ppl are afraid of dealing with chimera even though it is relatively useless on TB exactly because of the horrible buildrate.

Kelti, your point is invalid. Sure, it used to build faster, but it had worse stats. As a result of being decent now, you can`t build them as fast.

How hard is that to understand?

I completely agree that chimera should have a better buildrate. I have never understood why miners should be so heavily favored in many aspects compared to terrans, when they both are the basic easy races.
