Atronite 2006-08-02 | | Housing infastructure research | | hey I read that if you want to be an efficient commercial terran, then putting 7 into housing offers the maximum efficiency and the greatest income for a commercial terran because of the fewer houses that it would require to fill up the land, thus freeing up space for more commercial infastructure.

When you deal with large amounts of land and large amounts of credits per land invested, then it helps to be able to free up additional land by increasing housing. But which balance gets you the most bang for your buck? Using just two variables, we can easily determine this. As the chart shows, you can maximize income with 7 levels of housing and 248 levels of either commercial, agriculture, or industry. For a taxation or plunder empire, you want 7 levels of housing and 248 levels of housing, for a total of 255 levels. And for a strip mining or mineral generating empire you just want pure mining since neither are infrastructure intensive, they work with either few or no buildings and population.
(there is a chart which illustrates this, but it doesnt paste well here, so see the source for that)
Can anyone verify this? |

EvilAbadayos 99+ day(s) ago | its confirmed mate.
i just refuse to do it lmao.
5 is good 7 is better but still u got to take the income hit at the start and ive u have under 100k land it really dont make much of a major difference, several hundred grand MAX difference |

*makes a note to research more housing* |
Atronite 99+ day(s) ago | cool. thanks for the info and confirmation. |
Dreamland 99+ day(s) ago | atronite level 7 housing has been proven to better, the effect multiplies with higher infra levels, level 7 housing and 100 commercial for example, the land saved (on which you would then build commerce) would be better than if you had level 107commerrcial |
Atronite 99+ day(s) ago | well not if u just have enough housing to get the labor u need i should think |
khamon 99+ day(s) ago | not that I can verify that for you but if you are a comercial empire having that much in housing would decrease the amount of structure needed but would affect labor greatly wouldnt it? |
