review of the anime series Blue Seed
I`m freaking tired of this trend in Japanese anime in which the earth is saved from previously unstoppable forces by the soothing songs of a young maiden. This is crab! This series is 650 hours long and makes no dam sense. The vegattion of the earth decides it has had enough and goes on an offensive to change all humans into shrubs; However, a complex relationship between too hotties (japanese twin sisters) grrr puts them on opposing sides of the human / Veagtable war. For the 649 hours of the movie the tree`s kick arse untill hot Japanese twin number 2 makes the ultimate sacrafice and sings Karoke in front of an Audeince of 120 million Japanese and assorted grasses. Her singing was so bad all the tree`s of Japan exploded from within. And those who had not been turn into shrubs earlier rejoiced in the streets because one young girls song did what nukes, special forces or super charged mutants could not do. She saved New Japan from itself.
This move recieves 2 stars for bad story line, ending and concept; However, incorporation of japanese hotties in the script and lucid love stories i will give it 3 out of 4 stars. Don`t recommend buying it but if your bored late one night and see it on the cartoon network it might be worth while. |

Its not the anime series u have a problem with...or the vegetation....ur problem lies with the Japanese hotties....that would appear to be the only reason u watched...Do u live on your own or have RL friends??
Either way...thanks for the description...my 6yr old loves that stuff....and she loves Kareoke.....saves me taking her to the park!!

OK If you want to see an anime may I reccomend Samurai X or the JAPANESE VERSION of Samurai Champloo.
The English version of Samurai Champloo was Butchered......... To say the least...... Infact.....
If you are going to watch anime, watch it in Japanese, because EVERY LAST ENGLISH ANIME SHOW HAS BEEN BUTCHERED.
