Currently if a player doesn`t know it`s illigal and is coming from UC and does it...and gets caught and punished it`s like driving 100km/h on a freeway were the last sign said 100km/h limit then getting pulled over and fined cos the limit is 80km/h but some punks removed the street sign saying as such.
Better get that cleared up. |

And IF it works(and I don`t see it as a bug even thou I don`t use it) why do you think it is bypassing the rules? I haven`t read a single rule claiming that. |

matter of fact, a (G) taught me how to sell over the market cap when i played UC. this is how i learned
it would be completely understandable if a person thought it would be ok to do it on GC. there is no rule anywhere listed saying that you can not.
i`m not arguing against anything, I guess I can understand why it would be against the rules in GC.
i`m just saying it`s a rule that hardly anyone knows about, it should be listed somewhere because a lot of people think it`s ok to do. especially players that come from UC.
if you`re not gonna list it as a rule/guideline, then atleast give people off with a warning before suspending them |

Think of it like this.
Someone builds 100 hercs a turn for a few hours. This is cheating and avoiding the cap of 1 per turn. People will b and moan about it and you will get suspended or force restarted for abusing a bug (not this is NOT possible as far as I am aware, just a hypothetical example)
Now if someone dumps a load of minerals on the market (say 40 mill in a single lot) they have had to bypass the limit (most people know how to and NO I am not telling how to do it) and thus it is exactly the same as the herc example above.
Posting 4 lots of 9,999,999 IS NOT cheating and gets the same results without killing the martket as much.
People have been suspended and force restarted once getting caught doing this so it`s advisable NOT to try and screw with it |

99+ day(s) ago | WhatIsTheMatrix... when you can sell or post at the max price and definately there will be buyers to buy since demand is higher than supply, so it`s kinda fishy why a seller sells at lower price while breaking the rule of posting above the limit... either this particular seller is doing somekind of charity sale OR he`s not interested to maximize his/her profit at all... kinda make you wonder what`s going on eh? lol.... |

99+ day(s) ago | i haven`t sold any minerals for quite a long time but the last time i did, i think it was a capped limit at 9,999,999 coz i just pressed the number 9 key until it stopped and hit the sell button... the only item that i know without capped limit is ore coz i always accidently sold all my ore when i just pressed the darned 9 key without stopping and hit sell... lol... |

THIS TIME it looks to be done on purpose, but when I did mine, when I went to type 9,999,999 in mineral market screen "99,999,999" popped up for some reason under my cursor so i clicked it and it posted 99million minerals at once ;(... hard to tell how many 9`s...lol |
