I think this isnt the 1st time that this has been brought up but Ultra server seriously need more players. not only ultra but all of GC. ultras where its hurting most.
its boring as hell. the higher ups are all too scared to hit each other or something. the two power holding feds have a fedwar on us. Not that im complaining about it cause its pretty much pointless for them since all of KoA is virtually inactive and i never really fight the fedwars being a poor collective with good ships but cant get that high in pr.
The lower PRS drop from 1.4 million to 200k!!!! on a single page..... thats terrible.
theres only usually one target when i come out of dp which is terrible. we need more action people. |

99+ day(s) ago | lol thanks Trailia but I think I`ll be ok. I just meant that it`s hard for newbies to get started on Ultra, so changing the default starting point to Ultra instead of RT wouldn`t necessarily be the best idea.
I think that RT is probably the default signup server because statistically, that`s where most people play. Most people are looking for instant gratification, and RT is by far the place to go for that. I also think that for the most part, the people playing on the slower servers are people that started on RT and either expanded to the slower servers, or decided RT didn`t work with their Real Life and moved to slower servers.
If I remember correctly, the default starting point when I started playing a little over 4 years ago was actually the Normal Server. There used to be constant questions in the chat and in the forum about how to go about getting more turns. Then there would be constant replies stating the turn generation and max turn storage for each server. Then those people would ask if it was possible to move their empire over to the RT server. So it was probably simpler just to change the starting point to RT since that`s where everyone ended up anyway. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yea, I stopped playing ultra a long time ago for the some reason as bip. Turn generation and only 100 turns to work with didn`t fit well with my life. Even Fast is almost too much but I still do some researching there. |

99+ day(s) ago | Like Deiloche mentioned - I play on all 5 servers. I find Ultra to be the one I spend the least amount of time on because the turn generation just doesn`t work well with my life. Plus I`ve found it`s really hard for a newbie empire to get started there as far as targets to attack. On the rest of the slower servers, there`s almost always some people sitting out of DP just above NP to get started with. But on Ultra there`s never anyone out of DP below 1 million. |

99+ day(s) ago | yea I mean I am the worst maru around and can sit in one spot for a long time and not be touched something is wrong here. I am not even afriad to have three or less planets and my fleet still up. Ultra is my training site for RT or atleast it was before they lost so many players. I could with two fed mates knock everybody below 3 mil pr into dp with just a 150 turns so Ultra seriously needs more players. How about making it so people who sign up for Gc don`t automatically go on Rt server because people don`t pay attention when server sign ups. Then they can`t keep Rt demanding schedule so they leave the game.
Best idea is giving our six servers to UC then have fast and ultra merge and slow and nromal merge and see what that does to our numbers. ultra coutnign np player is around 200 with fast 300 once overlap is fix it would leave a server with about 400 plus. Don`t know about normal or slow not patient enough.
Let the flaming begin because I said the truth of what could fix this problem. |

99+ day(s) ago | Another thing storm, if you look at all the other servers besides RT, you get more or less the same numbers give or take. But hey, if you can find ways to promote GC, be my guest. Stephen used to have an affiliate program to motivate players to promote GC, but for forever he hasn`t bothered with it I think.
A question though, why can`t we have more voting sites that give small bonuses? Like a random uncommon or something, and have like 10 different sites we promote on? If everyone voted in them, that would surely bring in more players. Also, stephen used to do promotions where if you wrote good reviews in various websites about the game, then you`d be rewarded with a few artifacts.
We need to bring that back. |

Mate, if you got at least 3 billion cash, decent clusters, and decent food prices, you can make it up to 10-15 million pr fairly easily (esp with the kind of turn generation ultra has). |
