Isn`t it funny how GC was stephens favorite game and now UC, the ugly sister game, is now the favorite? I personally think it will continue with stephen updating UC constantly and GC left in the dust. What are your predictions? |

99+ day(s) ago | I really shouldn`t say GC is boring cause if it was I`d quit. I think a bette word would be dull. Its just thesame stuff over and over with little variation. Its like eating fast food for every meal but ordering the same thing every time. You;ll get a suprise or two every now and then but its virtually all the same. |

I think the reason UC gets so much attention is because at its heart it is a good game, but theres so much of a gap between paid and free accounts. So more peope will get paids. And he updates it more and the gap grows, and it continues. But I guess stephen is just that much "mentally special" to turn a good game bad and not know it. lol |

What about when GC players outnumbered UC players? You`re gonna tell me that there were fewer paids then for GC? If not, why didn`t the update happen then? Why wait until GC is almost dead to try and work on it? I`m sorry, not to sound rude or anything but your statement makes no sense!
Throughout history the masses have made companies do what they want by hurting their pocket book... just look at the canned tuna boycott when they were killing dolphins, now every dang canned tuna company has a stamp advising the consumer it`s dolphin safe... how about the Burger King boycott when they were using beef from cattle that was raised by destroying a part of the rainforest, you think they`re still using that meat? and just to go to the extreme, what about the bus boycott in the USA started by Rosa Parks? Did that not change things also?
The main key to make a boycott work is organization... if everyone on GC stopped buying a paid i guarantee Stephen would notice... i mean what will it hurt? It`s not like Stephen is paying attention to GC... looks like he`s just letting it die out anyway. |

Less money means less paid staff, fewer equipment upgrades, less advertising which has a direct effect on the time it takes to get updates and fix bugs. If everyone just bought 1 month paid account we would have had this update a year ago. Truth is you get what you pay for |

99+ day(s) ago | Well the funny thing is that we keep saying no massive overhaul needed... i don`t think any of the GC players were ever asking for a massive overhaul (at least no one i know), but we all know how Stephen NEVER listens to his players (Read: income), I for one will not buy another paid account until i see some kind of action to better GC... i mean c`mon if all we`re asking for is little tweaks not a massive overhaul, shouldn`t that be easier? Oh well, i dunno as i have not the first clue about encoding... but doesn`t seem that it would take 2+ years, lmao! I started playing Jan of 2005 and since that time most of the bugs if not all are still in the game... they say don`t exploit bugs... well why don`t you fix them instead? You talk about people having an unfair advantage due to botting, well guess what? Put in a system to thwart botters and voila!!, problem fixed! I love GC... but for the most part lately i`ve been quite disillusioned!! Why would i keep spending money on a product it`s maker doesn`t even care about. All we hear is excuse after excuse... last time i saw Stephen on the chat I had to post the same question at least 8-10 times asking about the GC update... in Stephens glorious fashion he simply ignored the first couple of posts answering UC`ers questions... i guess when he finally saw i wasn`t going away he decided to give me some BS story about Belial working on the ship mods... well guess what Belial is away for at least the next couple of months... when i brought the situation up to Pandy (Now head Admin), she had no clue as to what i was talking about! Did this surprise me? Hell no!!! but at least we now know that a GC update is no where in the near future no matter what kinda BS Stephen keeps trying to feed us GCers... i say we hit him where it hurts! No more paids! If everyone or at least the majority of GC (Expecially people that have been here for a while and religiously buy paids), stopped buying paids i bet he would at least notice GC again... |
