99+ day(s) ago | Dunkin Donuts blow chunks all over monkey shoes. And if they`re being delivered at all, it will take more than a day. Which means they won`t be warm and fresh. So it`s not worth it. Unless we can perfect a way to e-mail delicious food stuffs...
But what kind of bandwidth would you need to transfer sugary delicousness... I propose that we would need incredible amounts of throuput in order to transfer food properly.
The transfer an inanimate object alone would have to require an insane amount of data transfer, but when you add in all that juicy flavor, you`re talking yodabytes of awesomeness. It would take days to transfer that kind of food with today`s standards. By the time you finished downloading a single doughnut, it`ll already be stale.
We should start out with something simple, perhaps jello, or maybe soda. I bet jello could transfer into data in no time at all. Jello could turn into the internet penny. Perhaps even a new slang term. Example: "Man, you should download that new civ game, you can get it faster than a gallon of jello."
But really, such a device would ruin the world economy. Because once you can turn everything into raw data and duplicate it. People will have no reason to buy more. And then you`ll have even more piracy. People pirating TVs and Cars... "Where`d you get that new jaguar, that things sweet," "Oh, I pirated it off the internet this morning, but I can`t start it yet, can`t find a working serial number."
Anyway, I`d rather have pancakes. |
