It's that time again GC Guide applications are now open.
NOTICE
The closing date is Sunday 29th july 8PM server time
8PM Singapore time can be converted to your local timehere
Any prospective applicants should read the below information then skip to the end of this post to find the questions needed. Anyone that doesn't follow the instructions and post where it will tell you how it will tell you will be disqualified from this entire application set guides are no good to us if you can't follow instructions.
Remember Potential Guides should:
- Be familiar with the help centre system and active on both it and the chat
- Be Relatively abuse free and have stayed so for a time
- Usually be at least 3 months old in game (though exceptions are made)
- Experience or a good working knowledge of most playable races
- The ability to conduct yourself to a higher standard than that expected of regular players
- At least 1 hours game time a day to devote to helping (2-3 hours online time a day at least)
- Good Problem solving skills and common sense
A reminder:
There are no monetary or in-game rewards for being a guide and once a guide you are expected to continue to work and help after you've got your (G) those that don't will be removed from the list.
Moderation IS NOT a part of a guides duties, anyone signing up just to moderate should not bother to apply and save us the trouble , A guide simply gives you a hyperlink to your PM Box, gives you access to more questions in help center and a tag so players can identify you in the chat.

99+ day(s) ago | I am sure that orbital stealth walls of bricks are even more effective as a planetary defense system when equipped with anti-pineapple thermo-guided lasers. Not only will enemy ships crash on them, but they will also make all the dread long-distance pineapple-based weapons useless against your colonies.
But know that even if we collaborate on this, I shall continue to praise the Might Pineapple Pizzas. And no, pointless hugging attempts won`t do anything about it.

Once completing the Post, Read over your answers etc, ensure it is being sent from the right account and they will be processed.All applications will be considered, and a few things to note are
- Access to IRC although preferable due to us discussing guide and admin matters, isnt required
- Previous history of chat offences may put you at a disadvantage but you will still be considered
- Help and training will be given, but the ability to work on your own as well as a part of a team is essential
- This intake of Guides do not get the ability to silence or moderate , your sole duty will be to assist other players as you play, this may be reviewed as time passes
- Due to the volume of applicants every time, its not possible to reply to them, when decided, the chosen applicants will be contacted
