so let me get this straight

this guy attacks me 8 times, 7 times I am able to defend, the 8th he gets by and caps a colony. So I form a fleet and retail him, he only has 1 colony, his homeworld (he plundered what he won), and I win, but I get no colonies after suffering massive money costs for having to rebuild my fleet and a c1 colony lost.

So I got nothing after defending 7 times and losing once (lots of money for me to rebuild) while I attack him, get by, and still lose becuase then I have to rebuild what I lost attacks.

Hmm, how is this fair or even remotely balanced?

It`s a lot harder to rebuild your fleet if you only have one crabpy 500 land baseworld to work with. So keep countering him from high up and wiping his fleet. Trust me you will be making his life hell :) And if he has slaves then they will be escaping when you knock him down and that way he`ll lose his source of income making him suffer even more...

lol, yea enslave him then punish him :p

But 1 planet empires some would say is a tactic as people know they get nothing, apart from dropping them down in pr, so many people tend to ignore them.

I would tend to do a major smack down for that many hits, then enslave, but then again I can`t enslave, so would stick with the beat-downs :p

you gained 7 counter attacks after his attacks and you have 7 days to use them....so every time he pops out of dp or newbie protection you can attack him at any pr.
and you can always try to enslave him as punishment for attacking you so many times.

[quote]if you attack an enemy that you have nothing to gain from you do not gain anything

and if you defend from an enemy when he invades your lands you only gain the satisfaction of knowing he did not take your planets/land

This is the same in every kind of war in every kind of history, i suggest you get used to it on this game my friend.[quote]

No, in other games you`re actually able to destroy them by taking all their possesions which makes them have to restart. Here they can do that forever and have absolutly no worry becuase they can`t die. They can disband their fleet whenever they want to becuase no matter how much someone attackes them in retailiation they will get nothing and the person with just his home world will laugh and build his mega fleet tomorrow and do it all over again (costing you 100`s of millions). Honestly there needs to be more types of attacks to prevent this, such as plundering their money/food/minerals.

The problem is people who do this can`t be destroyed and can do this constantly without ever having to worry about losing anything.

How you find saticfaction in being dismantled by someone you can`t touch I have no idea

ps. I didn`t lose when I retailed him, I am just saying I am counting it as a lose as I didn`t get any colonies and lost a good chunk of my fleet.
