Hm, is anyone else sick of spammer bashers, every time I turn around someone is bashing someone else, or making fun of someone else for spamming.
well here goes my rant:
STFU
and here`s why:
spamming is a perfectly accetable and perfectly normal way to play the game. theres pro`s and cons to spamming, just like theres pros and cons to stacking
spamming pros:
fast building
lots of pr in one or two heavy ships
it will for sure wipe out the defenders top two stacks
pyth and angel make cheap spams for high pr counters
(others im sure, but those are the most common and such)
stacking pros:
wide varity of weapon and shield types
tough to beat a stacker when attacking, unless you know what your doing very well
can take several hits just to give a good stack free dp
(agian, others, but those are the most common and such)
spamming cons:
exceptionally easy to beat a spam from half pr once you know what the spammer is spamming
no weapon variety, you have what you have and thats all
its easy to tell what a spammer is building from their pr jumps
if your spam hits another spam the wrong way, no matter what pr you hit from, youll find yourself back at base
stacking cons:
slow slow slow slow
lots of cash, lots of mins wasted
a persistant spammer can hit you over and over eventually wearing down your fleet
it takes a bit of luck to line a good stack up just right, unless your a perfect stacker
some races just dont have alot of ships to stack with (altho the trooly skilld can use anything [yes even lfd])
anyways, my original point:
yes, spammers can be annoying, but its part of the game just like anything else, so if you dont like it, beat it

Its a fleet type, the game was made for people to build fleets, and any kind of fleet is acceptable, theres no newb fleet, aside from the horrible stacks newbs make then when they are still learning. It was not designed around any specific fleet type,both are useful in certain situations. |

then a viral pops out with a maru spam and knocks it all down. Even 2000 Fking tguarda. 1000 cance r2000 swords all that hundred nirv herc tyr. and crab.
So when we complain WE MEAN THE COMPLAINT. its B.S/ when someone spends 2/10s the turns you use to get up there and wipe half your stack. even if its a good stack the F******* maru spam Pyth*angels will take it down. Counter spams with nirva nd herc dont even work. thats how Bull SH**ed and unbalanced this game is. Thats why we complain against certain kinds of spammers. (the virals spammers) not all of them spam though. |

Don`t be silly, it`s just not true. Stack, get hit, counter and wipe the spammer. That`s how you keep borders the easiest. |
