Some Haiku about Spacefed
Inspired by VeggieTales
(A haiku is a poem of three lines, 5 syllables, then 7, then 5. I thought these up while stacking wood yesterday to keep my mind busy. I hope you agree with me that they accurately depict the experience of playing GC. --Cynth)
Manage Colonies:
Oh, no! Where are my planets?
I`ve been pwned again.
My stacks were strong, but
A newbie put my Thors on top.
Yes! Borrelly spam!
Click "Attack," then "Browse."
Many planets, low PR...
Wait! He`s Guardian!
Nirvanas are strong,
But Queens make them run and hide.
Oh, well--Swords work fine.
Pwned like a newbie
However, counterattack
Will wipe his fleet.
Not-smart, worthless newbie,
Feel my wrath! But wait. what`s this?
DP strikes again!
In forty-eight hours,
We will all lose everything.
Does anyone care?

Fodderman, do you mean "rhyme" or "rhythm?" Haiku have neither, whether in Japanese or English. It`s a different kind of poem. Each three lines are a separate poem. You see, it`s the mood that counts. |
