...not only do you not get DP after getting hit, but you get hit 2 more times as well. that`s what happened to me. i had a balanced stack, got hit, the guy failed, but i didn`t get DP. so i got hit 2 more times but lost only 1 planet in each attack. yay, fun.
this is just one of the things that really make me feel stacking isn`t worth it... maybe we should all just go flysch spam, yay,

99+ day(s) ago | My personal favourite was the first chiron that I ever built. That was on normal some two years and three months ago. I built nothing else, just a chiron... was attacked on the order of a dozen times, won every battle, and was DPed without losing the chiron... hehe.
And it depends on what you are going for. In most cases, you want a stack that will kill a tonne of enemy forces but still lose 40%... but if you`re climbing to a high PR, and your intention is not DP, then a "perfect" stack is more desireable, because you`re more likely to shatter your opponent and leave you with more stuff with which to continue climbing.
A good idea if you`re looking for DP with a bunch of destroyers is to use queens. They`ll deal out heavy damage then cease to exist, causing the enemy to lose more PR than you but still granting you DP. Ideally, anyway. |

99+ day(s) ago | a good idea is to try and put something in your stack like queens that will probably die but do their own pr in damage. Otherwise it is a good idea to have 10-12 even stacks so that after you win the 1st battle if the same person hits they may lose.
3 hits for dp does suck though, but at least you know it takes 3 hits for people to do 40% damage and you can enjoy the 3 retals instead of one |
