no i dont mean the ship balancing (was good, but the way to a balanced game is still far...), i mean the update, where
- virals pay real money for marauder-ship upkeep
- one can vote the fed leader
- the game play changes such, that the market is not rock dry
- game features like the rich-list returns
- all things i forgot... |

99+ day(s) ago | In general I am for nerfing the maru ships` upkeep for virals but virals were already nerfed when other races got some new pretty decent ships to use and further changes will make it pretty unfair to people who have paid some cash for their viral empires... + virals make less money than terrans and incomparable to miners. So in this situation I think virals are ok. Imo the game needs:
1) 1 or 2 no retal collective ships
2) slightly better miner ships. One ship that has energy or missile damage with nice build rade and with nice kinetic def modifier against guard spams(least +60%?). Miners have the best economy so it is normal to have some pros and cons(worse military than other races).
3) Guard needs several touches as well. I looked at deiloche`s proposed ships and think they were pretty much ok, maybe 10-15% less damage on ruby/tourm(from his list). Give guards the option to reward, maybe not to 5k, but 2.5k will be ok. That may encourage more people playing that race on slower servers. |

Also DrKsT hit the nail, i think the Admins are still working out kinks in ships etc ..
Before any other updates can be implemented
A full game update is a slow process, but i am aslo hoping for Angel/Pyth nerfing, also voting to return ( if possible to fix the bug ) ALSO Viral to be able to RE their ships, i feel that is very important too =) |
