If Stephen doesn`t want to use spacefed.com anymore, that`s his right, but he could at least change all the links to spacefed.com. As two obvious examples, GC`s login page tries to use http://spacefed.com/gc/i/w/pic2.jpg as the background, and More Games on the front page of gc.gamestotal.com links to http://spacefed.com/. And I`m sure there are more.
So he should either fix all these links, or make spacefed.com a CNAME to www.gamestotal.com in DNS, so that the URL works again. That would be easier than changing all the URLs, yanno.
In the meantime, anyone who wants to be able to access spacefed.com links just has to add the line "202.79.209.22 spacefed.com" to their HOSTS file (%WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS or /etc/hosts) and restart.
On a side note, I find the subject character limit to be.. very limiting. |
