Hi
A side reason personally for me not wanting Kurv to go boom, is i knew he was MR.CG ! =)
He owned the market and punped out ALL the CG:s for RT pretty much, now..
NOTHING !
A batch here and there, now i agree with people who say Cg;s are NOT ESSENTIAL for an Empire to live, i can make money with food at 19 (barely) point is tax empires, especially viral make very little money with no CG:s Not enough to fight at a reasonable pr with a decent stack (o.e pyth/angel spams all the way =/)
Please any miners restarting please consider being a CG MINER ! Thanks =)

Less Tax Empires= Less Food Consumed = Agri Empires making less Money

If I take out the cost of food/goods - we`ll assume 10 per unit of food right now, just for sake of argument - that is 39.5 mill per turn, after costs. Assume 20 per unit of food... that is 25.7 mill per turn. This is with 105 infra level. 255 is 2.3x more valuable than 105 (if you think I`m wrong, remember to add the default 10 to the infra value, as 10 infra points = 100% of your starting values.)
Lets compare @ 20 per unit of food.
( 2.3 * 25.7 ) / ( 1.41 * 24) = 1.747x more profitable per land.
That`s a rough figure, of course... and it DOES assume maximum loyalty. But it`s fairly accurate. I could be wrong in that the infrastructure for goods acts linearly on the income made like it does for housing... if that IS the case, then my ratio of comparison is only applicable for the scenario when both are 255. Regardless, the numbers are fairly accurate... and I have personally never seen food stay above 20 per unit for long (though I admit to rarely playing RT, where they may do just that.) With the rise of collectives (more food producers) and the rise of power for A.miners... I imagine more tax miners may spring up sometimes soon. |

goods give u a large boost when ur pop is high enough. try tax miner urself and see that when ur base pr is over 1 mill with just pop....u chew through several mill CG`s as if your a fat kid eating candy. |
