Reduce the number of RE slots they initially have available and allow virals to gain an additional 3 -4 spots by completeing the missions. The final mission would give 2 RE slots, but once they were both used, the Viral would loose the ability to capture. |

becasue of the capture ability, it is so hard to check whether ppl fleet transfer or not epseically on UW. i rather that use the mission to force the Viral RE those ships. disable the capture ability after all missions done. yet, no point to keep the capture ability once RE ships already done. unlike Viral, Collective can only capture but not RE.
of course, someone will say: `we Viral can stop at the last mission to get the capture ability forever.` yes, i knew that too, there is a way to force u complete the mission.
example: the next mission will be need completed to enable all the RE ship on ur ship list. so, if u stop at the previous mission to get the capture ability, u wont be able to use any ship which u had RE.
well, without the capture ability, V class still very danger for most of the races. also, i hope that Borelly can resotre back to range 9, but do some weapon swap to balance it out :) |

Kusari 99+ day(s) ago | The only reason I suggested loosing the capture ability Cataclysim, is that it tends to gives us viral an unfair advantage during a UW attempt. Besides, noone would have to give up the capture ability, if a player thought that being able to capture was more usefull than the extra RE ships then they could choose not to complete the last mission. |
species382 99+ day(s) ago | nope, scouts can not be captured. But why the he.ll would one RE miner scouts? OK, you can build em twice as fast as the Kohoutek, but each turn you pay more than twice the upkeep PER scanner point........thats a LOT of money..... |

Kusari 99+ day(s) ago | The other way to do it would be that you would have to complete certain missions to be able to RE some of the better ship classes. The collective could also have something like this, but in their case, the reward would be the ability to capture ships from more races. |
