I`m restarting, and was wondering how many ways to play the Terran race were there...
I know:
Agriculture Terran (make and sell just food)
Tax Terran (A little uncertain about the meaning of this one)
Commercial Terran (build lots of Commercial infra, is this actually tax terran?)
So what are the main ways to play the Terran Race? |

99+ day(s) ago | agraculture tarren i tried it , it is good but u need level 40 agraculture and dont so the missions unless u wanna change race but i restarted as tarren comercial it is prety good playing with comercial tarren tax is really hard so u should just try a.miner for tac |

except you should do terran missions at least once (Act 1 at least) so you can change races in the future ... so you should do the basics and then restart as agri terran =) |

99+ day(s) ago | Well, you need Five levels of Commercial to do the Terran Missions anyway. But do not do anymore than this. It is uneconomical to invest seriously in more than one Infra. In most cases, at least.
And to start out, do some Ore mining. |

99+ day(s) ago | well, if u r not really make sure u can start ur Argicutlure n Tax Terran with better way, u can always try the hybird form with Commerical.
it is good to set up ur empire until u feel that it is time to switch all to Tax or Argiculture :) |

make yourself 500mil - 1bil (takes a couple of hours probably once you have explore capability)
then start making proper clusters |

99+ day(s) ago | I took your suggestions into context, restarted several times and tried various ways, and got disgusted by how hard it was to pay for stuff in the beginning with Agri Terran and how hard it was to feed my population with Tax Terran... finally I tried A. Miner, didn`t like that as much and came back to commercial terran for the time being. =P

But yes. Agriculture for terran. Agriculture > Commerce as long as food costs 4 or more per unit. |

99+ day(s) ago | I dont know if anyone heres tried Tax terran, but i have. and no, it isnt profitable. Even with Max loyallty, and food at 8, it was a killer. I got about 100K per turn overall at level 30 housing...
Now plunder terran...now thats a different matter ;) i was that on Ultra :P made about 4bil from it in a year.... lol |

99+ day(s) ago | ok then well with max and nice planets lookin at 5m a turn is 50-100m a turn depending on food prices thast 2.25 -4.5b in 45 turns. pretty hot if you ask me |

it doesnt have a per turn income so you may only be making a few k per turn (literaly 20k mabys?) but i remember dp getting 2m food a turn ( i think) thats 20-30m a turn
and he didnt have huge clusters or infra
gordo up a fert to 10k and have 2 23k+ c2s maby 4 or 5 more ferts with max infra and you`ll be laughing mate |
