Hopefully I can just post this once - without having to reply to 50 PMs and a bunch of forum postings...
This quick overview should answer them all.
I DID press the "activate Overmind Project" button... I then got a nice message about how I won the game, blah blah... a nice big picture and a message from stephen & the staff... and then my name popped up in the past winners list... and now my empire is dead (which is what is supposed to happen after a sucessful UW).
But from what I`ve been told, there is a known problem with the "server reset" not happening after recent UWs (was told by Del that it happened on the fast server as well). And nothing has been done about it.
I have no idea if the admins or Stephen care to do anything about it - or if a "manual reset" will be forced on the server. Nor does it really matter to me...
I repeat - regardless of what you see on the login page, there is no additional button for me to press... Actually, since my empire is dead now - I don`t even have a projects page...
To recap:
Button = pressed.
Auto server reset = bugged.
Will they manually take away 90% of your credits = I don`t know.
*Actually - I bet most would prefer to see Stephen focus the limited time he gives to GC on things such as new ships, balancing, and new races... I`d rate UW server reset bugs below all of them... Heck, I might even have a hard time staying retired if Dark Marauders appeared as an option. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yeah I can`t do anything about it neither can anyone else and we can`t get hold of stephen to fix it. I`m not sure whether it is that the server needs a "reset" before it works probably but i sympathise and will try and get a way to get it done |

...doubt it. I used all my turns before the UW expecting free DP lmao, so I had to VM afterwards - apologies to all my enemies for that. When I emailed Stphen it looks like he has changed his email address - great way to fix problems!!! I know - if I cant receive any emails there are no problems for me to fix. Genius |
