What would it be, if you restart, that you dont have to research the ships again, you already researched previoulsy. (ships mean ONLY ships, no planet keeping, no infrastructure keeping, not other bul.ldung.ting....)
The motivation for that would be, that ppl, who get boored with one race can more easily try out other races, with the option, to switch back (well for the price of the infrastructure research and planets). For example nobody who researched the Hun.Xe once on a turn based server will do this again, prohibiting the player to test out new races (as long as multi-accounds are prohibited for very good reasons) |

99+ day(s) ago | vets can still win even without those power ships that require many turns. give them hal or ryu it wont make too much of a difference at not too high prs. since they take time to get planets and increase their credits so giving them big ships with usually high upkeep right away wont do much either. |

99+ day(s) ago | I think that the infra-research should be able to re-allocate just in UC, the money, food and other research should be wasted, this way people that have been let`s say unpaid race, but very long and strong empire, to buy paid and start over as a new race but do not have to waste their infra... |

im HIGHLY against it
it states on restart u loose everything, thats what you should loose, granted loosing alot of hours of mindless clicking, but in those hours u get the starting creds u need to get the empire set up and kick started.
so...NO bad idea even if its just ships |

99+ day(s) ago | Well, between infra research and ship reserch there is a small but suddle difference. You can fight and do infra research in between, but without ships, you are doomed to do only research for >1 week on turn based servers of course.
And latter is not soo terrible funny. |

99+ day(s) ago | i doubt anyone doesn`t restart due to not wanting to research ships again... for any older player loosing their infra and land would be a much greater reason to not restart then being concerned with researching ships again which really doesn`t take too much time at all. |
