Stephen you did a great job already with the ship update. However, too many cooks spoil the soup. I feel the only thing that really needs to be adressed right now is maru ship upkeep for virals. All other ship related things can wait. You have already given us more than anyone expected and enough to keep us entertained for a while. Trust me! or just do it for a month or so to test it out. Maru ship upkeep for viral is nerfed you will see more action and a much more balanced server.
Here are some suggestions if you want to try this
1) Make D angel and Pyths special M class ships only available to Maru and thus not reversable. The other Maru ships are not a major issue because they tend to be around 4:1 power to upkeep ratio.
*Note include D bullshead in M class if it is modified for the better.
2) Make all viral ships power to upkeep 1 to .8
3) Make pyth and d angel upkeep 1:1 for virals only
Anyway i think this is the right mix and will make the game much more enjoyable. |

if it was to become DarkMarauder class like its meant to be then depending on D marauder race its more than possible for them to become uncapturable , making them open for nice improvements without unbalancing virals
and boo hoo virals with no more D class , your still able to get 3 great ships from each race :-p
