I rmember when i played back in 03, that Dark Maru was a playable race. What happened? |

99+ day(s) ago | Dark Maru was very very interesting. It was added to the menu of races because it was planned to be added after KalZul was ironed out and last few bugs of 1.06 figured out. Well Treg left, KalZul was ruined by "someone" just adding poor ships, and 1.06 was never fixed until .... well people have started doing it now (thank you), 2 years later. And they are tweaking things too, make a change, see how it works, make a change again. Makes the game better and interesting. (Ya`ll should be greatfull)
The method of income doesn`t even exist yet in the game for my D Maru. And it wouldn`t be a obtainable by missions, only obtainable by doing a UW. Very Hard race, but very very strong ships (~4 B Class, ~4 K Class, and ~5 D Class). Very easy to die, but very little research. All planets can be made "dead", no explore. Main point of race would be to take down bloated PR empires (ones that get over what Guardian is SUPPOSED to be able to handle) and give the Guardians someone to play with. Guardians would have to be tweaked to be able to better Kill a reckless Dark Maru.
Sub Terran was going to be added too. Basically a hardened Terran with good mining and NO food production. Some ships have very low capture percentage .... in the story line it would be the predecessor to Viral. A few Terran ships, a few T Class and some large U Class ships. Sub Terran could be implemented with current 1.06. It would be medium difficulty, and would be playable by doing missions almost to the end of Act 2. This race would help put minerals on the market, and take food off the market. |

only small part of Marauder become Dark Marauder, i dont even dare to think that they will be able survive and grow larger, as much pop as Terran race. we got not much Marauder on each server too :P |
