starquest 2007-02-19 | | Special Planets | | What are special planets? I just got my first... a forest, low 345 land, 71 ore... what`s so special about it? Good digging?
Also, what are the other planet types so that I can be made aware of them? I already know about the Xtreme ones (shudder, had to let somebody pillage that X. Oceanic off of me) and the U. class. |

starquest 99+ day(s) ago | These planets could be tested as U. Class planets first, or kept as U. Class planets.
U. Archeological
U. Pioneer
How about Volcanic type planets?
It`d have medium-large deposits of ore, low land, low population growth and no agriculture. Essentially, an ice planet with a different label.... huh. Oh well.
Or.... a living planet (better make this one a U.) that produces Srafez ships for you... U. Strafez.
ideas..... ideas...... |
fleak2 99+ day(s) ago | G class planets
G=gift
planets given by admins from contests cannot be plundered and can be used to replace the home planet.
probably will look exactly like another 550 land balanced
A class panets
planets best for digging and the more you dig the lesser land you are left with
more land = more artifacts chance.
but... when planet reaches 0 land it is destroyed
planet cannot be buffed with gordos and cannot be plundered assimilated and infected |
AvianFlu 99+ day(s) ago | humm yea thats how long the last update took sigh |
rutgerzak 99+ day(s) ago | would be fun indeed go float stephans mail whit ti and it will be there in 2-5 years ;p |
starquest 99+ day(s) ago | There`d have to be a letter (S=Special, E=Explored, etc.) for it...
How about "P Planets" (P=Pioneer) that grow as you add housing and gain population. The planets would grow to a certain point (undeterminable until they reach their max, which would be the fun part). |
Zenith 99+ day(s) ago | Yes, special planets start big. Deserts and gases can be huge, but they don`t grow overnight- you just find them the way they are.
Though that would be a nice feature... |
starquest 99+ day(s) ago | Oops.. accidentally plundered it when plundering planets with 0 ore. Hopefully, it didn`t have the potential to get bigger, rather that Special planets start big, right? |
DrunkenMasters 99+ day(s) ago | heh there are no dimensions for special planets. I have explored 1073 land gas and 1070 desert so sometimes you can find something decent :P |
starquest 99+ day(s) ago | I`ve gotten my share of dead planets... <_<
Well, this particular one is a Forest that has 345 land... so I guess I should plunder it? |
rutgerzak 99+ day(s) ago | s class planets got the potentional to be 10x(?) bigger then their normal counterparts
there also are dead planets which are useless for anything besides fodder |
