I still thinks my tyrs should`nt have died from this attack (on careful, it seems). But who am I to understand battles?

The flu is spreading ... my M.Flysch Battleships disappeared during the most intersting part of the battle to blow their nose and they never came back .... so I won`t be counting on `no retaliation` any more (well so much - I think this is first time I have had trouble with battlesystem) ... anyway, I have to think of other ways to be pain in the a** for spammers if a full stack and no ret ships aren`t the answer ;)

battlesims aren`t accurate, and as I said before current battlesystem is flawed so it`s impossible to re-enact big fights containing v or h.class. For me it`s top priority for the upate to fix the battlesystem.

then you will see that the Tyrs dont die in the battle sim :)

so if this is something special in de coding by stephen.... then its either very weird or very random..... and thus the battle sim would actually give better resutls than the game itself.... hmmmmmmmm....

the flanking attacks are decided randomly so after attacking 10 times in the sim you should get the same combo

I do know what happened and can explain (did a few times before this week :-/)
I`ll run some calculations when I have time this evening and then explain here

I would really love to see the detailed battle reports (because we know the battlesystem is pretty flawed) but the last thing you should do is trust the battlesimulators, it is just impossible to recreate stephen`s coding and math

to Maraudian, greenyedi battle calc gives several batle scenarios you just have to look for the right one its not 100% off like you say

there are some problems with ships that have no retal and ships that don't have them, you can see most of them playing has a collective xD

Then the flanking system must be a bit off. Unless the game thinks that two "no retals" cancel each other out.

attackers bottom 4 stacks die i mean :S

ok bottom 4 stacks from the defender all die in wave one, None of brumens stacks do(1 tyr die to broadswords).
This means that in wave 2 Tyr "should" only be doing a flanking hit on a random of the top 6 stacks, in which the tyr cannot be injured :

Ships attacked by this ship cannot return fire.

thats my conclusion anyways

Maraudian: maybe you could show us in the forum what happened..... if people know what happened, they maybe wil bother you less as well..... saves you some boring work everyday ;)

Well, Maraudian, I understand it can be boring to spend time doing those calculations and stuff. That`s precisely why I use GY`s sim, to replay most battles so I can learn. And it seems to me it`s often quite accurate. Most of the time actually. Oh, no pb, I`ll just rebuild tyrs :-))

ok i`ll calc out the entire battle when i get home quite sure i can prove that they shouldn`t have died, a 9 stack with no retal dont get killed to a 3 stack spam hitting on carefull, i`ve seen this quite a few times with guards hitting and tyrs dying, and its odd, seem like you dont have any explanation except that you dont want to look into it, because you have to look into alot of other battles well great lol. let someone else handle it.

Btw in 95% of all battles GY`s sim gives the correct outcome, slightly wrong with exact number of ships dying, as in most battles wave two is a bit random. calling it 100% wrong is a mild exagaration.

although i will apolagise i simply read the on carefull it seems and asked if he simmed so i could inform him its broke , if ide have looked closer , but if thats the real battle and they did die yet you kept them meaning it was indeed the viral capture bug , sorry for not looking closer the 1st time.
