wat i want to bring up is that i think there is 2 possible routes this could take 1(the one i would rather have) is that it is all restored and stuff with an update, but then there is the bad one (that at this point seems to be getting more and more true) is that he is slowly killing off the players that way itll die on its own and wont face as much backlash =) |

I am unaware of any proof of that so that comment means nothing to me.
To me its value lay, as I said before, in the fact that it wass in a way another way to "win" or succeed in this game. Launch UW, complete Missions, go to a few hundred mills pr, get your name on the Richest Empires list...
I guess the bottom line is that that value is lost on you Cannabis so that`s where we seem to differ :S You see no value in it, I see great value in it and I don`t think either of us are going to change so meh. |

So I spose I understand where you are coming from but I`m still really cut by its removal =(
A large part of the fun I have gained from this game has been in trying to become one of the richest empires on the fast server (I make about 8 million per turn) and from watching a close friend of mine gradually become the richest empire on all of normal server.
It may benefit you on the faster servers but I`m really heartbroken to see it cut regardless because I think regardless of what someone CAN do to you it should be put back. Think of the fun of working your way up from a brand new empire on RT as a n.oob then one day to find yourself at number 20 on the Richest Empires list for the entire server! Now that`s way cool and it`s a crying shame to see it just cut away one day as if it meant nothing. |

What`s a few billion? I make a decent amount of cash per turn, thus i make billions easily however, let`s say i have 500 billion, w/ just one major i`d lose 15 billion and for those of you that go way back to the arti coalition we know the magic number is 24... so w/ only 24 majors i`m standing to lose at least half my cash... that`s 250-360 billion at least (I`m not doing a running calculation, only as example)... now it becomes an issue as we`re not talking a couple of billion... as far as the intel re your PR, whose to say i didn`t sell minerals right before i climbed to 100+ PR... i might be sitting at 100+ PR w/ fodders for all you know, you don`t have to be rich for that... the point i`m making is that when you attack you`re taking a chance which should be the same way w/ arti`s...

PR valuable info? Really? all it tells you is the power of the fleet they have... it`s still up to chance ranging anywhere from stacking to spams to SB`s... when you attack you`re still taking a chance that you`ll get pwned... thus the rich list caused an unbalance due to the fact you`re getting MY empire info w/out my consent! Thus making your arti spam more effective... think of it like knowing someone was at 100 mill PR w/ nothing but fodders, would you even hesitate to hit them? No! But because they`re sitting at 100 mill PR you`re gonna think twice as to what stack you`re gonna hit with.
Do you understand now why it is unfair? |

99+ day(s) ago | For one thing Cannabis I think this arguement refers almost wholly to RT and maybe ultra server where people have the turns to sit around and stockpile artifacts. On the slower servers this kind of stuff just doesn`t happen, at least not that I have heard of. I`ve been on the richest list and had fedmates on the richest empires list for ages and people accept that. They don`t spam each other to death with artis out of jealousy or w/e
So basically this removal should not apply to the slower servers period.
As for the faster servers what`s a few billions??????? If they spam you with artis just spam them back. Obviously they can tell if you are rich with or w/o that list if they see you regularily going to 100 mil pr or w/e (unless ur maru or viral...)

Maybe you should waste your fleet by mistakenly attacking someone from 1/20th of your power - that should be fair by your logic. 99+ day(s) ago | meh... Cannabis it just added another facet to the game - another way to publickly compete with other players which is exactly what this game needs - a reward for pursuing alternate goals in this game besides sheer fighting all the time.
Maybe your power rating should be known by only you! That way we could all appear to be under n.ewbie protection but it would be like a game to find out who really wasn`t!!! Yey! |

Second, why don`t you make a point instead of jumping on everyone`s point? HB, made a very valid point that this is imbalance due to the fact that it gives you a clue into someone`s empire which should be private... no one should know how much money i have unless I choose to tell them, which is the same thing as a stack... how about if there was a page which showed how many borrely`s/herc/pyth`s/whatever and the place they were at in their stack? Would that be fair? By your argument it would balance things out becasue lower level empires would know what you have in your stack and attack you accordingly... man try and see the big picture here... ur a big boy, i know you can do it! |

99+ day(s) ago | DF... there is no stats page that shows someone how many hercs you have so they know when to build so many queens to destroy them... the rich list is effectively this... tells you when they have how much money and when you should attack them with dinero`s to be most effeceint. I think you`re missing the point. |

checks and balances
there will always be a way to bring everyone to an even playing feild, even if they dont like it, always a way to beat something, such as queen > herc thus dinero > the rich |
