  Tales from a bard.....

Dunno if anyone remembers this from the old forum, But since Kush isnt around I feel it my duty to start a new one. Also, one more note. I know my words arent quite as...... mad.... as Kushans, but if anyone here gets this and knows what I`m talking about, dont blame me. NOONE is as eccentrically insane as Kush was.

We`ve told of stories of riches and gold,
Of the greatest warriors of times of old.
Robotic armies of the motley crew,
The very same ones who took peru.
Kushan and Qwerty, The Hippie too,
And the fields of battle upon which we slew,
Both undead and man, infact theres a list.
I could list them all but you get the jest.
Few now remain to hear my ranting,
Nor Sexbotian temples with ceaseless chanting,
Fewer still know what I speak,
Most of you think I`m on a speed tweak.
But I am, quite sober, or so I recall,
So turn off your Ipods, step out of the mall,
And gather round children, around this small tree,
And let me tell you a bit of spacefed history.
You see there were wars, upon wars, upon wars,
etc etc, now theres no more,
There was a time, you were plauged by our crew,
Till our gods left us, Treg, and Stephen too.
But we`re not gone, just our elaborate temple,
Our lab still remains, but the stories not simple.
Anyways, I shall cut to the chase,
Many years ago we locked ourselves in with haste,
Times have rolled by, and only I still remain,
Querty and Kushan, well.... they`re still insane,
Now I venture out, to tell of a crew,
Brought from the jungles of a place called peru.
Mechanical squirrels, other beasties too,
Once upon a time they controlled this land too.
But they`re coming back, with a vengeance in heart,
If you are wise these lands you`ll depart.
I know my young friends that you do know remember,
But these things will leave only ashes and cinders.

Uber, I think it was slightly before your time on spacefed =P I dont think anyone but me is left that still remembers all this. In any case, you made a great opponent for us.

Out from the jungles,
Came squirrels and bungles,
A distant reletive of the bumbles.
They stood in formation,
Sadistic revalation,
Of the war that would start again,
They were joined by their cousins,
Mechanical squirrels and their husbands,
And the Hippie at the head of their ranks.
They shouted out loud,
And waved banners proud,
And their railguns they began to assemble.
They mounted howitzers to the backs of great turtles,
And eight pound shells they did hurtle.
Explosions were heard,
And the dead men then stirred,
And so started the second great battle.
Railguns did then rattle,
Men butchered like cattle,
As more approached their front lines.
The squirrels stood there,
Fangs and claws bared,
As the undead advanced upon them.
The front lines did clash,
Blood sprayed with a splash,
and mechanical sprockets flew about.
The squirrels did flank,
But dead men still think,
And so their flank was avoided.
The battle raged on and the hippie joined in,
Eager for his share of blood,
The earth did then groan, and continued to moan,
And a division were entombed with mud.

An opponent they needed, as all armies do.
An army that remembered the squirrels of Peru.
No living army yet remained,
That could ensure the squirrels would be maimed.
But there once had been, a group of men,
That had fought to slay the fiends.
They utterly failed, and some were impaled,
But their spirit of war lived on.
With vengeance it was mixed, and their eyes they had fixed,
On those that had taken their lives.
They fought and they slew, and their foes they did hew,
But alas in the end they were ruined.
But their souls not put to rest, they would do their best,
Until the day they would win.
The squirrels though too, though insane and hollow,
Had never really been slain.
The conflict you see, potentially,
Could last through the end of time.
A war eternal, between beings infernal,
Was waged in fair Peru.

And as the man spoke,
A squirrels head did then poke,
Out from behind his shoulder.
Its fangs did then bare,
With its razor sharps hair,
And devoured the man standing there.
Though the people did run,
It bared a mechanical gun,
In the shape of a railgun right arm.
More did then follow,
and made the tree hollow,
And from there they set up HQ.
Following the squirrels came assorted beasties too,
First one by one, and then a few.
The last of the nerve squirrels from peru.
Though their presence was fierce,
And their senses keen,
There were only but fifteen.
For the rest were released to their homes,
They pillaged and plundered,
Opponents did blunder,
And their weapons were no avail.
Now deep within their tree,
They plot with sadistic glee,
Of how they`d reclaim their lands.
Theyd need their commander,
For though he`d been slandered,
He was still the best of the best.
Locked away in his lab,
behind metal slab,
Was the ranting shell of a man they called Kushan.
And so ranks were formed,
Their recruitment office was swarmed,
Of all of the animals abroad.
Three hundred they converted,
To the twisted and perverted,
Religion of squirrels, Sexbotism.
But still they were, the simplest of creatures,
Without their mechanical might,
And so they formed squads to infiltrate the lab,
Under the cover of night.
