im kinda sick of all the talk of the update and stuff so i decided to make a serious thread. Depending on how this one goes i might make another =)
So wat do you guys think about it? is it too limited? should it be shutdown? post your thoughts and debate.

i feel it is far too limited, we have here the miracle cure, something that can cure millions who suffer and it is continued to be limited by laws and such |

99+ day(s) ago | still surprised this subject havent been closed, it seem political, anyways according to archaologists(and yea thats Most likely spelled wrong, english is my 2nd language meh), anyways the dudes that dig and say "o.0 this piece of brown dirt is so very old, think im gonna write a 40 pages report about it" think that we are entering an ice age soon, as they come with 20 k years intervals or somewhat(maybe 30k i cant remember) and the time should be during the next 100 years, before every ice age the temp on the earth goes up....this however does not mean that humans arent contributing to the global temp going up, thats also a proven fact. /me goes to buy some warm clothes |

stemcells is different to abortion....if you have abortion that means the being dies completely, stemcells is like blood tranfusion, your cells are alive and then they die after a while, i think it same here that your cell is alive (though it is replicating itself) but then it dies, but you dont die so the being is alive unlike in abortion, but yea it isn`t like that just makes me feel better about stemcells XD yea hippie is right everything is just opinionist |

If cars that run on hemp fuel were to be produced, would it not stand to reason that the governments of the world would want to cash in on the profits. And would it not also stand to reason that they would commercially harvest said hemp products?
Would it not also stand to reason then that they would never un-outlaw a proven harmless substance, simply because they would loose money on it?
So then. The government would harvest vast amounts of marijuana, extracting the hemp for their uses and throwing the rest away. NO. They would sell the rest to countries where it is legal for a profit.
Now. This would mean that since it would become a steady product, the price for hemp fuel would be drastically cheaper, while the availibility of said "Drug" would be just as innaccessible (or so they believe ^^) as before.
Therefore, if hemp cars were to arise, we can safely assume, that the GOVERNMENT would regulate the growing of commercial marijuana fields.
I must now go repent for this one..... |

Yes. I agree that it is wrong. I also think that abortion is wrong. But we cant stop anyone. Its their choice. So if some woman makes the choice to abort her child, then they can use those stem cells.
It is wrong to abort a child. WRONG. But some... no... scratch that. MOST people no longer have a sense of morals. So. Stem cell reasearch, in my opinion should be conducted using the scraps that would otherwise be thrown away. It sounds really harsh, but thats what they do. They take the fetus`s and throw them away.
HOWEVER. IF a stem cell has the possibility to form ANY other cell. Why are we using people? It seems odd that most scientific expirements are done on rats, but the "lab" rats DNA is nearly identical to that of a humans.
Therefore, it would not be much of a stretch for them to use animals which are, sadly, bred for testing.
I am against this as well. But the fact of the matter is. Its a human, or a rat.
That being said, couldnt this all be avoided if people had more moral fiber these days? If people would just have the child and give them for adoption rather than killing them, this would not have to be the sad solution.
Simple fact of the matter is. I can point out flaws in ANY plan, project, reasearch, or way of life. Therefore. I shall officially stop pushing morals onto you people, because there is not a subject in the world you could change my opinions on.
And I shall as.sume that you are all just as stubborn.

99+ day(s) ago | Alll ure guys`s comments r gonna make mine look pathetic. Stem cell research, which is what this is about, is an abomination. To get stem cells, u must take them from unborn fetus`s, because once they`re born, the stem cells r gone. That`s because stem cells r mearly cells that can grow into any other cell imaginable, they r the "stems" of other cells. To get them, u have 2 kill, yes kill, unborn fetus`s, in order 2 get the stem cells. It`s an abomination! Any1 agree? |

99+ day(s) ago | ok now i get what you guys mean, i thought you were against people researching other stuff, but the temparature rise is natural, bears swim 6km (dont ask why i know this), and it is known that temperature increases and decreases are constant and it is natural- it occured before we even rode horses -_- we are speeding it up but it is going to and is unavoidable to happen like previous heating and coolings, an example is in nz you COULD walk in places which are now filled with ocean water , even before the first people arrived here which was along time before fossil fuels were widely used
i`ll put my thought into other stuff though...most charities keep 3/4 of the donations for themselves...i know someone that worked in one of those sponsorship things,
hemp cars sound cool...would be expensive though to buy enough hemp to power a car?
they use alchohol to power cars in some places, they also have bio fuel which in nz is now 10% of the total fuel thanks to the government (they force em to add it) some guys run theyre cars on oils from fish and chip stores which are also eco friendly like our school tractor, theres lotsa alternative fuels but what can we do to fight the man :P |
