I collect Games Workshop figures, Dwarfs mainly, but there are quite a few of us making a website that lists all the unreleased, limited released and non catalogued figures they have made. If anyone can contribute to this it would help out and there is also a section being made to showcase peoples painted figures if u are interested
This is being made in conjunction with the Stuff of Legends website and will not be a rival to it, more of an addition.
Havent heard of any figure collectors here but u never know.....

99+ day(s) ago | The major problem with Games Workshop products is, that function does NOT follow form.... the warhammer ect. figs are realy nice (still loving the halfling hot-pot-catapult), but you can forget the corresponding rules.
So collecting em is ok, even so in my opinion its as thrilling as collecting stamps ;-).
But if you are actually playing with them, you never played a reay good strategy boardgame.
Warhammer cant compete with for example with any original Avalon Hill product (before the company was brought by Wizzards of the coast (made their money with Magic: The Gathering, that tells it alll) which subsequently was swallowed by hasbro (made their money with dolls, dito) and is now trimmed to minimum creativity, maximum profit :-(.
