Both my dad (Think) and I (UberPansy) have been suspended from the normal server for multiple accounts... now before you get on my case saying this is the wrong place to protest it I assure u, the proper people have been notified for almost a full day now and nothing has happened. They were PM`d and I made a help center post.
I don`t really feel a need to defend our case... we have been playing this way for 2 years with admin knowledge and it`s been fine... I think some good proof is to look at whose names the credit card purchases are in - at least that way you`ll know that my dad isn`t a figment of my imagination o.O
Our stats have some similarities but anyone who knows us would see how very differently we play... and our empires are extremely different us well (he`s number 3 richest I`m a mere 12th or so...). Dunno what proof you want but we are quite innocent...
So for you guys on normal - that`s what has happened.
I hope this is resolved quickly and a proper apology is made. |

and yes matters like this should be public a player cannot defend himself against guides/amdins alone cause they make all the decisions even if they are wrong, the player can't do squat other than posting at the forum to let other players know |

99+ day(s) ago | I gotta say though Omegian, though I appreciate your defending of me I think labeling me a spammer is a bit much for me to stomach - I`d almost rather be labeled a cheater than a spammer o.O
I think spams can have their place if: you know ur opponent`s fleet, ur at low power, our if you are short of turns. But spammers bother me as much if not more than they bother others... I do my best to spread my power and build nice stacks. |

As always it takes time for these matters to be resolved and both Maraudian and Eternus are relatively new Admins, with Pandy i think having the most history and experience, and we must bear in mind the now HUGE amount of work they must have to be doing with NO PAY
So spare a thought for them, as without them, this game WOULD NOT run simple as, i have had many a run in with admins and yes they have made some BAD calls before but speaking for both of them, from a fairly experienced point of view they are nothing but fair and strict
I`m sure that this matter will be resolved, possibly not as swiftly as you;d like, but as was earlier said we are all human and there is a huge amount of data the Admins must cope with everyday
Therefore mistakes are inevitable
THink being your dad sort of makes sense now to me too lol
As for the flaming part

UPDATE - Eternus was kind enough to not just say he`d look into it and do nothing but I did recieve a reply on the help center - which I replied to - so it seems some investigation is indeed going on.
Abayados - I understand that you want to keep this from becoming a flame thread and I`m happy to say it seems like everything on here is being discussed maturely and rationally and hopefully will continue to be.
dumdumdum - I realize that my dad could have just used his credit card to pay for the game, the point I am trying to make is that at least my dad really does exist (lol). Impersonating my dad is a little far fetched imo - somewhere you have to draw the ine and say OK, I can`t come over to your house and watch that you both play Spacefed but there is enough evidence in your favor that we believe you. |

99+ day(s) ago | Well we may be behind, we`re still adjusting to the loss of Pandy (let nobody underestimate just how much she did round here) and are sometimes a little behind, as Beleth earlier said there may be a number of reasons as to why you`ve been suspended relating to sharing alone.
It`s not my case but i will take a look and post on any threads you may have made. |

99+ day(s) ago | it wouldnt hurt admins one bit if they made their reasonings public(if they have any), it would in fact make players feel alot better about them imo. But yes as it is you have alot better chance of getting accounts back by going to irc and talking to the admins in private.
And yep i too can vouch for think and uber being different players, during cascones uw we where on msn with both of them. They got different playing styles and this is probably just a mess up, coz someone reported you, an admin looks at ip`s and suspends, and go about their day....if not this admin wouldn`t lose face to say in this thread : "no i suspended you because you always log on right after each other, and even thou you might be two different persons, you help maintaining each others account" or Something. |

99+ day(s) ago | Uber plays norm and fast. I play slow, norm, RT, and ultra. I still have not gotten any info from an admin and, as far as I know, neither has Uber. The comments on our respective playing styles is very interesting. In my view, Uber is a faster and more courageous fighter than I am. He does much better than I in Death matches. In fact, I joined the RT server to try to get faster, and I originally joined the slow server to experiment with small defensive fleets. Anyway, I hope the damage to our normal accounts (reset damage counter, lost turns, lost counters, lost subscription days, etc.) can be fixed soon. |
