freeboarders 99+ day(s) ago | Verizon is only US though |
Beleth 99+ day(s) ago | Sat might not be yourt best option due to positioning and high costs, as said below if it is just web browsing / email you want, look into GPRS PCMCIA cards, extremly useful with a good cell provider with a data only package, Some let you bundle with your current contract as well |
Killer1700 99+ day(s) ago | yeah definately go wit a cellular isp...they dont cost as much last time i checked and they are faster :P |
Omegian 99+ day(s) ago | Verizon has the best wirelss/cell business as I emailed you TBK.
Satellite ISPs are out, just not good enough in my opinion. |
HoneyBucket{HH} 99+ day(s) ago | TBK, I haven`t seen\heard of any satelite ISP`s readily available as of yet...
I have used Cellular ISP through Sprint and Verizon and i think Cingular has it too... you just use a small card that plugs into the laptop slot, with a little antena... works nearly anywhere that you can get cellular service and it`s actually getting to decent speeds now as well. Hope this helps, PM or MSN if you have any other ?`s |
