what the hell are they on about a miner is defensive and our starbases suck the lakko hass good range but firepower sucks and livid and g lictor take 1500 turns for reasech g class and even more for g lictor added on why do we do all that reaserch and have a crab juggernaught the terran have better juggernaughts dradnaughts and starbases so how can miner be considered defensive or oufensive face it miner ships suck miners are at the bottem of the food chain and viral are at the top |

but, yes, with the F class n C class, u can decrease the pr lose to win a battle. sound wired? nah...
to win a battle, u DONT really have to whipe out all the defender fleet. sometimes, u just do enough pr lose to defender AND u have to loss less pr than defender, then u win. simple? ;) of course, expect 1 - 2 colonies win from the battle too.
no doubt, Flysch is the core of ur fleet. mix up with all the M class, F class, C class, u will know how DEADLY can a Miner be ;p |

Listen to what GreyArea and Parasite have to say they can whoop pritty well any race as aminer :P |

i loose max of 2 when i get attacked, and when i attack generally take the full 3
learn to stack and u will find out that miner is one of themost fun offensive and defensive races, just dont rely on the shoddy large ships.
infact...flysch is the highest pr single ship u should use in most of ur fleets, destroyers/cruisers/frigates and corvettes are GREAT in the right spot. lyth is only really good for a very fast pr jump whilst not being and flimsy as a lictor or kyro jump. flysch spam on careful with full dummies generally will win atleast 1 though i suggest full stacking or half stacking to get the 2-3 planet wins
remember on defence C class, strafez and high hull miner ships will minimis losses. or do an offensive stack and wait to get hit and instantly counter...assuming u didnt loose that is.
fodder is the only borry defence miner really has. yes chlorite and broadsword do a number on them but 9 times out of 10 they will die cos they get outnumbered so badly then get wiped out anyways. throw fodder there and minimis losses to borries. illite kill chirons on even PR as do light fighter drones, livid kill borries if they are 120%pr or more of the borry stack if u attack on careful
see...its not that hard jst need alot of practice and not spamming of the large junk miner ships |
