When ever there is a sucessful viral UW, there always seem to be complaints that virals are always setting of the UW because virals are in some way severly overpowered and invincible. I have a different theory.
Lets examine each of the races for UW launching potential. First off, most of the sucessful UWs will come from players with paid accounts. I don`t know about the rest of you, but the first thing I did after buying my paid account was to switch to a paid race. If the UW is most likely to come from a paid player, then most likely they will be a viral, a maurader, or a guardian. Guardians are eliminated from the mix since they don`t get the kalzul project in the first place. To even consider trying a UW as a maurader, you would have to have an incredibly strong and active fed, and be willing to sit in front of the screen for 48 straight hours to maintain your stacks. Slim and none are the chances of that.
That only leaves Viral, and the unpaid races. From among those, collective are out for the same reason as maruaders and then some. Miners have the potential, but very few people have the patience to become good enough with miners to pull it off. So out of all the races, only Viral and Terrans have a serious chance of a sucessful UW in the current server conditions. In fact, terrans can be eliminated as well. If you have a paid account, why wouldn`t you switch from terran to viral if you had the chance?
The end result of this is that 85-90 % of legitamate UW attempts will be from virals, not because they are some uber race, but because they are the only race really equiped to do it. |

In my case I prefer to be able to say that my wins came about because of skill, not because I have a range 9 ship that does chemical and kinetic damage ... o.O |

and Grono UW on slow was a joke MIK protected him from anyone who wanted to hit him and hardly anyone even tried. |

99+ day(s) ago | it is all about the nasty V class when Viral set the UW. also, some low upkeep Marauder ships can help those Viral defend well as good as build up the pr.
if u can take away the ability of capture ships while the UW, those V class wont be any problem for those UW attacker (also ships trasnfer) :P
yet, for Terran n Miner, it isnt easy as the ships upkeep.
of course, at the end, u still need alot of support before set up the UW. |

And once again i say as well only uber race in a game is guardian it`s the easiest race to fight with,earn money.
So plz stop your craby complains anyway can lunch a uw if they got what it take and it`s not a race...Grono blowed up a slow with collective race,and there was a guy nExus blowed up almost all servers with maru..so my point you all newbies!=)^_^ |

99+ day(s) ago | terrans do do it, so do miners but miners are harder to do it aswelll, just that virals use marauder ships which they have low upkeep, while the terrans and miners have to spend lots, and need higher prs then virals since they cant capture |

99+ day(s) ago | heh only A miner that done it recently was bip , and she did that many nobody took her serious enough till it was too late , most players also got bored stopping her many UW`s and kindly let her have one due to determination , i kinda think it was the same with kalzul this time too , every other time it was taken down fairly fast , think everyone let their gaurd down this time eh xD |

1.) also unpaid players can play
2.) The majority of paid customers choose virals just because this race has a significant advantage compared to the other paid (and unpaid) races. |
