I didn`t notice this for quite some time. but lately i`ve made some observations and wanted to see if anyone else can relate or maybe it`s just me...
Thanks to the "filter" on gc's chat, disc, pm`s, forum etc... i have begun to associate very clean and wholesome words and even letters with profanity and ill thoughts...
All the time i`ll be in public or hanging out with people, even my 3 yo niece... in school, at work, talking to my boss etc etc and i see things that continuously bring up bad thoughts in my head due to associations caused by this harmful filter gc has created!!
For example i`ll be reading my math book and read something very typical like:
There are X chickens in the coop behind the house, X cats go into the coop and there are 6 dung chickens left and 2 dung cats.... blah blah blah blah...
and if you`re familiar with the filter you know that if i was to automatically replace the filtered with no filtered words i would be getting some confused, messed up messages that would be quite distracting and harmful to my peace of mind.
Anyways. any thoughts, comments, suggestions would be appreciated. and yes I do already see a shrink but not sure if I should bring this to his attention o.O |
