This is my ideal race that should be put on the game and the best part i have complete ships and everything so don`t have anything else to do on it just revise it that is all been thinking of a race like this for a long time just never posted it until TheShadow inspired me to post mine.

Dark Terrans or Evil Humans are a race that wants to take over the galaxy and search for Ultimate Weapons of Destruction. Terrans always lived peacefully on their home planet until another group of Terrans started a civil war on the planet and they then became known as Dark Terrans for attacking their own race. The war lasted for hundreds of years until the Terrans used a UW to destroy most of them. A large number escaped the UW and they fled the planet to find such a weapon and search for a new planet to inhabit.
Now Dark Terrans have found them a new planet, some where in the darkest part of the galaxy far far away from the Terran home world, to inhabit a planet that took a couple of years to find and they begin a new life to get revenge over the Terrans by creating a UW to destroy them the same way they did most of the Dark Terrans.

99+ day(s) ago | interesting, it seems you made it so that this race is very easy to make money with, if not easier than terrans, let alone the numerous ways you may go about setting up your economy. Though it seems here commerce would be the way to go, and due to the modifier on the commerce as well as the tax could prove to be the richest per-turn based economy in the game. however i pose the question: is this good?
though having not seen the ships yet, with this kind of economic power, i would hope that the fleet made avaliable to them would be of a very high upkeep or over rated, or under ranged etc. Though you do mention that they have a low upkeep, so that means that with the ability to make more money than any regular terran, and whos fleet has a low upkeep, that the ships would be aminer-ish at best.
one note to all race creators: take into account the other races, as well as the relative power/ability of your race as compared to others, if you are going to supercharge some aspect of your race, you have to balance it with some negative effect elsewhere.
surprisingly, this isnt the most outlandish race ideas i have seen, though i wont made further judgments conscerning the dark terrans until i see their ships. |
