Ok, as some of you may have noticed, if you create your own fed, you won`t be able to leave once the DM starts. Additionally, if you are the only one in the fed, chances are you aren`t going to win the DM alone.
The only way a fed is going to win is if they are able to consistantly have a full crew. If you`re a 1-man show, you will NOT win.
United Terran Union has been able to consistantly have 4-5 people every dm round so far, however, this DM tournament is going to be quite long, and not all of my members will be able to make it to every single DM.
Therefore, I am extending an invitation to all these 1-man shows to disband their federation before the DM and send in an application to join the UTU team.
As many of you may have noticed, United Terran Union is also in 2nd place with 372 planets, with MK quite far ahead in 1st. There is a very good chance that we will be able to make 2nd or 3rd place. If we accept you, you will be with a team with very good prospects for winning.
However, there are only a limited number of prizes to be given out, so we only have a limited number of spots. At the moment, I will open up 5 additional spots for our team so that we have a full crew, with maybe 1 or 2 outside the fed on the "bench" coordinating attacks with us on MSN.
Here are our qualifications:
1) you must consistantly show up to either DM round as much as can be expected. in your PM to me, tell me which DM rounds (give AM and PM as well) you can make. Also, you must NOT go consistantly inactive during the DM or you will be kicked from the team. If you can`t stay until the end of the DM, we dont want you.
2) You MUST have a basic understanding of how the game works. Tell me how long you`ve played UC and/or GC in your PM to me on the DM server
3) You MUST have MSN as that is where we coordinate and help each other out. It is our greatest asset on the team.

And they should play on the team because if they actually have a part in helping the team win, then they`ll get a split of the prizes. Assuming that all 10 members or whatever are active at some part of the dm tourney and we place 2nd, then each member will get 1-month paid each. If we place 3rd, then I will exclude myself from the winnings (I still have like 2.5 months worth of paid on my fast account still and don`t play other servers actively enough to really care about getting a paid for them =P) and the top 5 most active members in the dm will get the prizes. |
