Ok, so we all know Stephen is gone with the wind. Numbers are better than they have been but still shockingly poor. It truly is a testament to the loyalty of old players that this game keeps plugging along
So i have 2 questions

What can you do to encourage players to join and how can we help ?

99+ day(s) ago | I did this on RT with guardians federation every single point we do in the federation guardian not all my ideas no, but i joined RT when I came back to get re aqquainted with the game fast for empires UW on normal and now i have stayed and guardian is now on its way to becoming a rival on RT to rabbies and MK I kickstarted a recruitment drive for the federation as i didnt wish to just join the top feds and its worked 2 months later in saying that TB could take years to get ranks back I recall when i joined normal and worked my way up with UTU to be strong it took 3 years i think to get everything prepared so .... faster turns or more turns on slower servers meh and would a mobile app be hard to do? just curious
maybe a group of players from RT could join ultra and make a fed with the intention of stirring the pot and bringing down those in power or just providing action that will cause people to want to join.
and don`t quit when things look bleak or you think you have no chance vs a group on one of those servers, look for people not in those feds and send out a pm asking if they want to band together and fight the power, or get friends from another server to join.
talking to players over pms skype or w/e and just talk about the game, enemies allies doesn`t matter, it`s a game make friends with people and get them talking about the game and keep them interested in it. Talk in the chat be friendly and helpful, don`t go in there trying to troll everyone.
Feds could host competitions to see who can get the most wins, or planets or w/e. those who don`t mind could offer their fed mates paids as prizes for these competitions. |

99+ day(s) ago | Well there`s not alot we can do, i can`t clean up links unless they`re posted in the forums, almost every problem that anyone can think of is something i would have fixed along time ago if i could.
The only thing i can do for new players is continue the new player bonuses and trying to stay on top of issues that pop up that i can fix, aside from that Some Events would be nice, but finding people that will help run them is hard, people always seem enthusiastic at first but within a few days they stop caring and things just go down the toilet.
Even before events there needs to be players joining the game. for this it`s mostly getting the word out to people to get them to try it, naturally only a portion will stay since this game doesn`t have a mobile app nor does it have any graphics. it`s an outdated game that`s long outlived it`s time in it`s current version so there`s only a select group of people who will want to play. but i mean everyone can advertise on what ever social media they use, you tell friends, maybe post fliers on your college campus if you want to go that far.
make sure if you do tell people to join, let them know who you are in game so they know at least one person to go to for help on playing the game. Tell new players how to find the proper resources on this game to help them play, mainly the new player help thread in the forums alot of people ignore it and ignore the banner at the top of the game.
be more active in the chat, and actively look out for and pm new players, become more friendly. Don`t hoard resources, if you have max money and 100 mil in all minerals, don`t be greedy post some, if nothing else post in 100k amounts. try and keep the market alive there`s no reason to have 300-500+ mil in each mineral even if your trying to UW. especially when there is none on the markets.
Promote players to play other servers, get yourself active on all servers. One big thing that no one wants to do is to break up the huge power blocks of players that exist on some servers. when there`s maybe 40 active people on a server there`s no need for 20 of those 40 to be in one fed, if i could lower the number of people a fed could have i would. maybe a few active vets could break away from their feds and train up a group of newer players or band with them on TB servers. maybe a group of players from RT could join ultra and make a fed with the intention of stirring the pot and bringing down those in power or just providing action that will cause people to want to join.

These are all voluntary suggestions but if enough people join in i think we can see a small bit of a revival.

Create an app or mobile version of the site
Cleaning up the game (Several dead links, link to outdated content etc... even the subscribe that pops at log in isnt updated like the one in game)
Have rolling artifact times so everyone gets a chance to dig em...
