UnitedFederation 2006-09-11 |  | New faction : pirates MUST SEE |  | yes i have returned. and i thought up a new idea: pirates this can either be for a paid account or for free if u r really good.....they can attack ships and if they want... KEEP THEM! however all income is based on how many ships they attack and loot and how many planets they loot as well but their upkeep is very low but even all factions have disadvantages......
1.)pirates cannot keep planets they ust take all it`s resources and move on.
2.)pirates have trouble with goods just like terrans but their goods situation is much worse.
3.) Pirates can`t make food. They can either buy it from the market or......
steal it. "ya little scumbag!"
4.)pirate class ships can go as far as battleships and light star bases.
5.)Their research is kinda slow.
This took 3 hrs. to think up so plz no harsh comments. |

Oh boy, I used one of my capturing ships, and got me a herc!
Now, I can clone the herc and build some more!
Aw crud, some guy borrelly spammed me, killing all the hercs.
Now I can`t build anymore hercs, but if I capture some more, I can build them again!
Is that it?
On another note, why don`t we just rename this race Dark Marauders and make it available to those who did a uw (as it was originally intended)? |
Achilles 99+ day(s) ago | Perhps these priate should not be able to take planets . The only way they survive is with their special "Raid" attack which takes 1-5% of all credits and minerals from the defending empire on a sucessfull attack. Being they have no income -99% on all modifiers they start out with 5 million credits enough to buy 3 small fighter clss ships. Being the race is very unorganized and namadic in nature ever server refresh they lose 50% of credits and stocks; therefore, they must actively raid/play to survive
All ships require few or no minerals and upkeep is 4:1
Being they are raiders they will have all high range ships
atleast 3 over 9 range and 1 that has a higher range than the p thor.
special ability raid attack - gain 3-10% of all credits and resources after a successfull attack
artifact nullifyer- Decreases the sucess rate of artifacts used on a Pirate empire by 85%
