To finish off what I was saying in the title, RT has less than 125 accounts out of NP, so anyone want to take bets on when the game will die ?
Also would be interested if the Admins have any ideas, or have the same general despondency all the old timers have ?
Though to be fair the game has had good innings, will be 10 years old soon !
Any thoughts would be welcome, i guess RT will die just like all the other servers *sigh |

Then stop giving other races ships as prizes. whats the point of game balancing when empires have ships they shouldnt. No brainer in my opinion. The game should then have rounds, ie it ends at some point and everyone is reset again.
only by doing this will you enable new players to join and stay and not be at so much of a disadvantage to people who have played for years. Thats why they all leave Its that simple. there is no desire for people to join a game that actually inhibts newer players rather than helps them. with it not resetting and making it fair there is no motive for newer players to stay dont forget they are already at a disadvantage because they do not know how to play.
An advertising campaign would generate some new players.
Anyways, this is the part where all you old empires who dont want to lose things will vote against it and it wont go through and the game will die.

In any event, you`re off tack entirely. The game hasn`t had much in the way of attention from it`s creator in about half a decade. We`ll just skip over the part where you said you pay Stephen "like a hundred dollars a month", thereby perpetuating the scenario in which he doesn`t give a shlt, as long as the game stays out of the red. |

Ste still cares because it gives him money, the moment it doesn`t well i am sure he would care less. |

Oh, that`s probably not exactly true. I`m guessing anyone with admin rights can attach and thus include any javascript from the special header message div. This means that virtually any javascript-based modification - such as those in my mods - can be coded and added in such a way that it affects all players - without messing with main server-side codebase...

99+ day(s) ago | You misunderstand why it`s dying, GM. It`s not dying because a lack of influx of new players, though that certainly isn`t healthy, it`s dying because it is stagnant. When the only person who can change it doesn`t care, stagnation occurs. And that is the real issue. |

it is not dying there is always new players joining the game but this game is kind of boring and hard to learn if you don`t have someone to talk to and help you learn
When your new and someone messages you and helps you do missions and u get to know the game more you become more interested in the game all the older players just need to step up and help the New Players |

This all Guardian Federation Ive been talking to only new players and teaching them and helping them and they become interested in the game most of the 21 members in our fed are NEW But it just takes 1 person to take intrest in the new players Every Federation on this game could have 21 members you just cant be lazy yall all just sit there clicking away but wile your waiting for turns all you have to do is
at the bottom right of the screen where it says the time and 18 User(s) Online All you have to do is click
18 User(s) Online and it brings up the list of everyone online from every server you can find new players on rt just by finding a name that you have never seen before and put there name in Intelligence and see if they are new if they are talk to them and get them to join your federation Everyone needs to step up and talk to the new players there will be plenty of them to find now that my Fed is full so i cant recrute anymore |
