I made a request to BW and Ephemeral about a half year ago that the game should figure out how to handle this. It sounds like you are approaching a solution?

Does this mean there is a comprehensive rules post on the way?

there`s some rules in place when a person asked to be froze. Wait a few days and everyone will be able to see what i mean

Pretty sure they`ve not set anyone to froze status who were in the top 5 for a while now due to that very fact.

Ok thanks

... though I dont really get why you freeze ppl in top 5 when they ask for it then, giving them exactly the advantage of a surprise reappearance as you mention.

we never really liked putting people in the top 5 in np by other players request, i know it clears up the top 5, but it can also be said that it would be bias toward certain groups, and alot of people that do vm usually log in at least a few times during their vm for what ever reason so there`d be alot freezing the same person.

Some Players would also abuse this by building into the top 5 and vming for a short period and having someone request they be frozen, then that player could just lay there and wait without until they felt the need to pop up and surprise someone.

this is just another issue where the pro`s and cons would need to be weighted and discussed, it would have been more simple if stephen would just have coded the top 5 bonus to ignore players in vm.

but the short answer for now is No, i`m sorry.
