But unless I missed something (i sorta skimmed through it), I think you neglected to mention that "no-retal" also means that vanilla ships like Sword or Garuda with no specials are liable to die to a 1-ship spam (usually on 2nd wave).
So, really, a 1 ship spam with dummies could take out at least 3 stacks in a balanced fleet IF one of the 3-10 stacks has a vanilla type ship.
Another quirk of the game, which makes vanilla type ship even MORE of a liability. If say the 2 stack were say a Garuda, and it died on wave 2 on the RETAL attack before the spam even has a chance to fire back (another reason why the vanilla type ships are bad vs no-retal) then it effectively gets a free attack on a 3rd stack.
It`s counter-intuitive because this isn`t how it works, but the theory goes that because the spam didnt fire back, it`s using that "free attack" on one of the other stacks.
You could conceivably lose 4 stacks in this scenario, because it could hit a 3rd stack with it`s "Free attack", and then a 4th stack composed of a vanilla ship could flank it and also wipe itself out.
This goes beyond beginner level stuff, but it`s definitely something to take into account if you want to be a "master stacker". |

Look at other games and the staff who support them. We are really neglected here. Finding a few forum posts and making them sticky is not some major life achievement that deserves a standing ovation. |

99+ day(s) ago | @aba i think what wingmut is trying to say is... these links shouldnt have been taken down in the 1st place, and when they were, we shouldnt have had to wait 4-5 weeks to have them re-stickyed. why didnt chess put them back up on day 1?
IMO the only reason we lost the stickys and had to deal with the fed page bug for so long is because stephen fired Badwolf for doing his job (suspending a UC player for botting (hypothesis: stephen took the botters side because the guy prolly just bought his weight in UC currency))

I think this would apply to WingMut`s constant QQing about things...unless of course you have something constructive that will help the game with input for possible updates and ways to make this game meet your glorious standards you seem to think you alone are privy to?
