With all of the changes to the ships, can we please re-reverse the virals soon. We need to be able to re-pick because of the changes. The strategy is different when u make changes to any reversable ships. Thanks -Jon
The last one only happened due to ships being changed to unverseable D class and G class. So don`t count on it.

Removal of G Class, and D class. from all virals and no longer being reverseable.
Huge upkeep hikes on V class.
upkeep rebalanced of maru ships which included pyth getting a huge upkeep compared to what it had.
I could easily go on but i think my point has been Made.

OK, I will run a scenario by you. You RE Chlor and it is bad@ss. You also RE 8 other ships that you consider to be the best of your choosing. Chlor is nerfed a year later. OH MY GAWD! How is your rich Viral empire going to manage with only EIGHT of the best ships around?? You should just quit because your empire is ruined and there is no way of saving it.

OR, the same situation happens and you AREN`T an 8-year-old boy. Then, you simply enjoy the fact that, unlike any other race, ALL but 1 of your ships are straight out awesome. No wasted space ships in your stack, except that formerly kick@ss and now only really strong Chlor, I guess.

I wasnt really around for the D/G.class changes, but im sure all viral got the change to update their shiplist then, if not they missed out on their chance. And its true i dont care how old your viral empire is, its not like viral players are the only ones with old old accounts that under gone major ship changes over the years. And what do you want staff to do, fulfill this request for RE-viral ships everytime there is a ship update? Really its all an decision by the admin of what he wants to do, and there is no way i would give a RE-viral update each time we updated the ships, to much work & to annoying. Maybe is stephen was paying people to be an Admin it would make sense to do so much work, but people got real lifes with real jobs & real problems. Admin is time consuming & we been lucky to have a few good ones in GC.
Really it would be nice to close this thread, PM an Admin yourself & ask about the whole thing, im sure an BW gots his reasons. |

One of many problems the logic is that when they nerf one ship for a race they balanced it by changing another ship for that race for the better. So the race is still balanced. A viral is stuck because the y aren`t being looked at holistically like any other race, except for the fact that they can restart... So The problem is veteran virals just need the opportunity to adjust their selections, because of the admins changes to the ships they already own or to the ships they didn`t pick before the changes but would pick afterwards. And yes a paid veteran account deserves to not be told the only way to fix their problem is to restart. Theres to much work put in by the players on their accounts to be told to restart because an admin decides to change a ships stats... |

@ Theif - Old viral account with old pick vs new viral with new pick is the same thing as saying A.miner vs guard. Its just the ship selection & preference. Ships change for all the races, they dont just change for viral, if you dont like the changes, the simple answer has always been deal with it or restart... idk why you viral think your so speical... and being a paid race doesnt make you more special than the other races. |

99+ day(s) ago | No HB, and alot of other people.... Here is the deal, Do not punish veteran viral players saying to get the ships you want just restart. This is bad for the game, and when people restart they are likely to just quit after years of playing and then these changes come along. When a person switches to a new viral now they get to choose the ships they want according to the way the ships are. Unfortunately the ships were changed on us and we were not given the chance to switch. We are just being told to deal with it or restart. We are complaining about competing with other races, I think it is fairly balanced. We are complaining that the new virals get to pick the ships they want while the veteran account virals, which is a paid race, has to sit back and be told they won`t do anything for them. The 500 or 700 or whatever day then get a new re-reverse isn`t a bad idea at all, but what would be better is is every 2 years we balance the ships at a set time and at that time only are virals given a short window to adjust to the changes. (sorry I was gone for so many days) |

To come back to the topic, should we allow another free rev engineer reset? No, we gave everyone playing that chance. Since then I will reiterate what I said earlier, the ships that are modified over time some will be worse off, others will stay the same or be improved to compensate. You will just have to live with it and play it as a challenge. You aren`t always supposed to have ships for every race to fight against effectively, every race must have a weakness ... per se
@ Freelance - collectives are worse if you really want to argue about whose an UBER race. Virals are easy to defeat and they are not that UBER even back then. If people can`t beat virals that`s a whole another set of issues. |
