Black Market

Any chance the Admins can reinstate the Blackmarket ?

So Ore at 15,000 , Minerals@2000 etc

Is there any reason why it cannot just be left there, so that players will always be able to play , even if it is a bit more expensive ?

Also works for big empires who want to burn cash and get off the rich list

Mineral miners will still be able to sell their minerals ridiculously easy. Minerals are Always being bought. When there is a black market, people see 1,000 as "half off" instead of "full price" and jump on it. I saw that happen continuously while the Black Market was implemented. If anything, the BM helps Mineral Miners, while greatly helping everyone else (the vast majority of players).

I`ll happily say that I am a mineral miner that produces and sells minerals ever time a reserve of that mineral goes over 6,000,000.....which is quite quickly if i have a c2.

The problem with the mineral market, is mineral A.miner only sell minerals when they need the cash. Leaving the server dry of minerals, when this occurs, many empires max out on cash, some rise in the ranks to fight, others go in VM, and also lose potential new player in the game.

So really the only downside to the black market is for mineral A.miner who will lost customers, money & a steady income. While the rest of the server has something to gain, mineral A.miner have the supply & the demand is there, but they arent selling is the problem we run into.

im talking about people like accra and boudica and other uber income (when active) empires that actually help stabilize the market and keep us on our toes if i remember the last food shortage was bassicaly coused by that

+ there is also the simple fact that most mineral miners don`t bother to produce or post their goods

i am almost willing to put money on it that most of the minerals on the market are coming mostly from old empires slowly accumulated stockpile and posted to get newer empires in the ranks

so , i`ve seen that there`s been plenty of minerals on the market for anyone to nab in bulk , enough to build ships... and last i heard you could waste money building ships...

So vm`ing because there`s nothing to buy means you suddenly lack ships?

and all admins would have to do is renew it every 36 hours or put an auto button on it i know that would require programming but come on some people are vm ing just cus they got too much money and nothing to spend it on

i know very few people that are actualy willing to let the creds burn away
