1 ultra light nodashi if i have to make it my self i will for large spaces and keeping the hords down
2 katanas for tight spaces
1 baseball bat for good old head shots
light steel plate armoring so those pesky theeth don`t get ya
2 hand guns large clip since you only need to scramble those brains not blow holes
2 sawed off shotguns loaded whit silver dollars for those realy pesky U.Z type
i know this sounds heavy but train your self wile you run away to take the weight never go anywhere whitout it and actualy add weight when your safe so when you need to run you pull a tab or string and it drops and now you are the heavy gazel not the slow rhino
ps a nodashi is the japenese horse slaying sword im 6 foot 2 so it would be 6 foot 8 or even an even 7 foot its very goot at keeping the slow hoards at bay when you have the space
and one last thing i would include in this is a latch or something to leave all the eqipment exept for 1 short katana and the handguns leaving the rest behing and settin a few granades off to cover your escape |

The Zombie Survival Guide, written by American author Max Brooks is good preparation reading material in the event of a zombie outbreak, World War Z, another novel written by him is also good, taking verbal accounts from survivors of a zombie apocalypse from different locations around the world. |

If the RMZ recognizes the other zombies as an extension of it self rather than a separate organism, and they are in any sense capable of coming together as one (similar to how you get a million flu germs and they all act in unison to form the flu), then it would be a little more feasible to say that they could work together as a single mass rather than an individual mass that absorbed the other mass and altered it to it`s own purposes. This would also mean multiple RMZs could join together and make the process even more efficient, unless RMZs are the only form capable of making symbiotic partnerships.
As you said, it would be a likely adaptation for the later part of the zombie apocalypse, and would prevent their kind from going extinct; the process could just go on and on until finally there is just one giant ungodly mass of distorted flesh that is forced to feed on it self until there is nothing left and the parasite is forced to go into some kind of hibernation. If this hibernation could last long enough, the world could re-populate with new species and the parasite could "wake up" and begin the process all over again. Mmmm, science. Lol. |

99+ day(s) ago | for the abomination it IS unlikely but if you consider a specific strain as a possible single entity and the reunion of so much flesh and mutagenic virous as more fuel then components it becomes more likely that a abomination would feed on both zombies and humans since humans would be getting rare and yes it would all start from a single rmz infecting many others all on his own
as for the arty powered zombies it can be a engeneared virous or nanite based protection and retrieval system they would be very agreassive and deadly whit a heavy chance of mutation and unnatural ability since its baced on ancient alien thech
and here is one i did forget that makes abominations comenplace the parasite not viral but parasitic entity |

99+ day(s) ago | Pizza "rabies zombies" a.k.a. "spitters" are one type that I forgot to list. For them, my advice is to wear biohazard masks or some makeshift mask with the same purpose to protect from spitting, and be a little more fully clothed than with other mentioned types, including gloves in case the virus can be transmitted through the skin.
While ancient and/or alien artifacts or curses can have similar results to zombies, I don`t actually consider them true zombies. I believe viral zombies are the only true zombie. The rest are just various forms of undead, which would take many, many hours for me to cover all of.
The Abomination is less likely as evolution inside of corpses would be greatly limited if not impossible. Unless the "source" is a living RMZ which is capable of sending signals into attachments to use as it`s own limbs (which is possible as dead bodies can be re-animated using electricity, which was proven many decades ago), it would be impossible. However, even if it was possible, it would be highly unlikely if for no other reason than because it is beneficial to the survival of their kind. If it "uses" corpses, said corpses can not then be used as food nor improve their numbers. It would actually be destructive to them and provide little additional gain to the individual Abomination as it would still only have the strength of the limbs it was stealing, which it could just as easily have by evolving what matter it already has. Still, as I said to tpe, expecting the unexpected is essential to survival. :) |

#1 the super rabies zombie no pain no body limiters so they will run them selfs untill the muscles sepereate from there anchors shot to the head gets rid of them BE CAREFULL any body fluid is extremely contagious and usualy they are like spiting cobras aiming for the eyes this is also a source of the zombie plage
#2 the artifact powered plague an anciant usualy alien arti is manipulated or removed releising a curse or alien thech powered plague main tips distroy or return the arti and dismember since these are true undeads and will continue if head or legs or even arms are severd
#3 this is the last thing i can think that you might have missed its a reletive of the U.Z.
The Abomanation composed of many individual corpses can be created by a very prolific R.M.Z. having its many victims congregate and meld the outcome is unpredicteble and is usualy quicker to addapt then a U.Z. especialy after feasting |

99+ day(s) ago | also if the heavy "armor-like" shell was filled with a light-as-possible inside, it would make lift (i.e. jumping) more practical. if they have powerful legs, it would explain the speed (and according to the laws of force, strength) as well as their superior jumping ability. this type would take far longer to evolve than the other RMZs, but given they would be adapting to avoid being hit (and thus killed), having this much time to evolve would be practical, considering the rate at which some viruses evolve. |

99+ day(s) ago | tpe - to that i have one thing to say. rhinoceroses. fast, powerful and tank like skin. give them the need to jump and long enough to evolve and they would be the "practical" version of a UZ. you have proven that you would be the first to die in a zombie apocalypse. First rule, expect the unexpected. :)
Pizza, not a bad suggestion. though save the bridge/house dropping for UZ, any other one would be a waste of explosives and bridge/house lol. considering UZ would number in about 1-2 total, it wouldnt be such a waste of resources to expose one of them.
old people as bait = a more logical choice approach. they are a hindrance to your survival anyway. |
