Serpentofold 99+ day(s) ago | Fifth Element and Fight Club, two of my favorite movies.
What would a Fifth Element sequel serve except to destroy the premise of the original? I mean, the entire movie was about the "Fifth Element" doing what it was destined to do, which happened in the first one. Making more after that would be a bigger disappointment than the sequels to The Matrix (both of which I enjoyed, but only after accepting that the premise of The Matrix was forever lost to them).
A Fight Club sequel might be pretty interesting. Perhaps the narrator would take over Project Mayhem and attempt to make it into a "good" organization, but Tyler returns to work against him, ultimately leading to the most bizarre power struggle in movie history? :)
Flyboys would be a great movie to sequel. It would be hard to ruin the original with a sequel (plenty of possible events could follow Flyboys without altering the premise of the movie), and it was very good. |
Deathroe 99+ day(s) ago | A sequel to Fight Club - that would be very interesting :) |
SubwayEatFresh 99+ day(s) ago | MirrorUniverse, I said that :P
Fifth Element? How would you do a sequel to that??? There`s nothing left to do a sequel with, everything was pretty much wrapped up, though it was a really good movie. I enjoyed it, and continue to enjoy it every time I watch it :P
Fight Club, lol, might be hard to do a sequel, though that too was a movie I enjoyed. If you watch that movie for the first time, watch it again afterwards, and it`ll be much more interesting. Kind of like the Book of Eli was. Some movies need a second viewing to really appreciate them :)
And now to add one of my own, though I`m not sure there`s anything there for a sequel either....Robin Hood: Men in Tights. :D |
spacehawk 99+ day(s) ago | The last symbol. and Rogue Assassin. |
NiHiLiM 99+ day(s) ago | love that one Loof :p
but as Flashy said.. a sequel mostly kills the original.
like Fight Club... brilliant movie.. but more of it won`t work. |
EvilLoof 99+ day(s) ago | ok well the movie from Luc Besson that calls for a sequel is clearly the fifth element and not Leon ! :P |
MirrorUniverse 99+ day(s) ago | Deathroe is refering to Leon: The Professional, with Jean Reno as Leon and Natalie as the girl he reluctantly takes on as an apprentice. Good movie.
Yeah Kung Pow is one of those movies you either love or absolutely hate. lol |

2day(s) ago The Professional, its a `hit-man` movie with Natalie Portman as a young girl, her mentor apparently dies in the final scene.

SubwayEatFresh 99+ day(s) ago | Deathroe, I enjoyed that movie, that was Natalie Portman as the child? Huh, never noticed. And it`s Leon: The Professional I believe. I recall it saying Leon on the front anyway. |
MirrorUniverse 99+ day(s) ago | Kung Pow - Enter the Fist :P |
Deathroe 99+ day(s) ago | The Professional, its a `hit-man` movie with Natalie Portman as a young girl, her mentor apparently dies in the final scene. |

GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | The Golden Compass. |
FlashysDomain 99+ day(s) ago | If its a good movie, any sequel destroys both the original and the sequel. So my response would be "none" |
