Oh my god enough with the flaming already, this is just getting disgusting and I for one am sick to death of it.
I take breaks from school to check out the forum and see what my fellow gc`ers have to say, hoping it will be entertaining or slightly intelligent and lately almost all I see is one person or another trying to prove something, god knows what and trying to insult one another.
It`s getting really freaking old and I wish you would all shut the hell up already, please for the sake of the game and all that is good just refrain from all this negativity. Go hit a heavy bag, or write in a journal or get a psychologist or significant other to complain to..... but leave it out of the public forum as this is not the place. |

99+ day(s) ago | thats the point you dont transfer credits, its easy for a single empire to buy out the food market when there only several left playing. I dont mind if they done it with other resources but with food. why wont we cap the food price? that has been a concern for a long time. thats one reason why player become inactive.
It is done in Ultra and now on Fast. Manipulating the market is cheating. you dont buy out the food market and then start selling it very high and in the process kills the activity of the server. |

And Atreides, market transfers are NOT legal. But posting things on the market at a low / high and getting a mate to buy it is not considered a transfer by the current staff because, in theory, it is accesible to everyone. It is only a transfer if it is bought back at a different price by the same empire selling in the first place. Which means essentially that rich empires can transfer their credits legally to whomever they like, which is why fast keep blowing up. I dont like it any more than you do, but it is probably hard to make fair restrictions on such matters. |
