So here`s the idea.
We open up the Death Match server and just let it run for several months open ended like RT server, but with the usual fed restrictions and dp times.
Whenever someone does a UW on the DM server, EVERYONE has a hard core reset and everything starts over just like usual. However, whoever wins the UW will get all the UW rewards as IF they did a UW on any of the other server.
Now they could have the rewards on the DM server, which of course would increase their chances of doing another UW on that server again. HOWEVER, they could also choose to have those rewards apply to any other server they want.
The catch? They have to restart their empire on THAT server as well, and the ship they get comes from whatever race they UWed with on the DM server. Naturally, all UW reward ships on the account carry over.
This would provide an accelerated means by which players can build their own lucas empires without spending a year or more empire building, which is the intent of the UW rewards program. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yup, cuz if you UW on the DM server and decide to take it to another account, you have to reset your account on THAT server to get it too. Long term it`s a good idea, and short term it balances out the major advantages older accounts have over newer accounts in terms of research and planets. |

Especially the Account reset after a successfull UW.
and since it`s a DM server ^_^ every one starts again, and only the UW fed will have some advantage.

99+ day(s) ago | It was fun, and if the admins or other staff are up to organizing something like this, that`s great. They can reset the server at any time to do this. However, whenever a DM contest is NOT going on, they should let it run like RT server (after resetting it, of course), and have sort of a continuous contest go on.
Something like that I can actually see myself playing, not a server that`s effectively dominated by people with max research and gobs of gordoed planets/clusters that I have to play 4 hours a day for 9 months straight (5 of which in pure research mode) just to have a chance at competing.
A server like that is truly temporary, but it can augment my other accounts if I can successfully UW.
Plus, UW rewards don`t have to go to the UW winner only. They can even go to UW losers who have lasted at least 36 hours or people who have done the vast majority of the damage to a UW, successful or not. Like a consolation prize or something. 20 STC on normal for doing the most damage to a DM UW or something, ya know? |

99+ day(s) ago | Well, last time we had a REAL DM was the one run by Pandy when she was admin about 2 or 3 years ago, and we actually had some pretty decent turnout.
Obviously we need to get people playing first, and maybe at first the rewards would be restricted to the DM server like all other servers. But once that critical mass is reach, then you allow the REAL matches.
This gives an incentive to people of all servers to play, since if you don`t and your opponents do, then they`re going to end up with some pretty insane advantages. Plus, not everyone is going to want to use their UW rewards on another server if they don`t want to give up their huge advantages in artifacts, research and planets. However, if they wanted to restart ANYWAYS, then it`s good push in the right direction. |

There definately should be UW rewards in DM server, but it should be kept to that server.
Also, could we get an update from admins the status of DM? |

Of cause after much ship and race balancing which i can clearly see everyone is very fond of.
So yes instead of luring the incentive to people, the majority actually have something to be excited about =)
